Start Date: Low Cal: 04/2009; Low Carb: 12/2010
First DD completed...

Did my first DD today in order to have Thanksgiving be an UD. Managed quite well, in fact. Stomach was growling all afternoon, but I pulled through.

Oddly enough, my 5 almonds put me over where I was supposed to be, but I'm not worried about 30 calories. Close enough, I say.

Now let's see what the weekend brings.

April 2008: 256.6 lbs and started Reduced Calories + Exercise
November 2008: 238 lbs
December 2010: 246.6 lbs and started Low Carb
June 2011: 220 lbs
October 27, 2011: 209 lbs and started JUDDD
November 13, 2011: 204 lbs
December 1, 2011: 201 lbs and gave up JUDDD.
Feb 17, 2012: 206 lbs and starting Low Carb again

Close enough is OK on JUDDD, I would say! And hope you find this WOE as wonderful as many of us do!!

It was my first DD as well...I just had to tell myself that I can eat tomorrow. (as my stomach growled)

I was a teeny bit higher in calories than I wanted to be but I think I will be okay. Can't wait to eat tomorrow!

yay!!! I'm on a DD after my first UD yesterday...So far, so good!!

MAINTENANCE since 11/12/11, & have lost more weight. I shake things up all the time with my version of Pirate Jenny's MUDDD, my "Fast 5" & other IF. ...low-moderate fat....and eating "healthy" foods 75+% of the time which lets me have real life and indulgences too I've reached my goals, improved my health & appearance, and enjoy my lifetime woe!

Just wanted to add my weight yesterday was down 1.5 lbs. Good encouragement for my first day.

Thanks. Actually, I did my math wrong. I was down 2.5 lbs, and today, after an UD, my weight didn't change!

Quit JUDDD after a month and a half. The down-days were horrible compared to being able to eat to satiety on low-carb. Besides, I know LC works, so I'll get my last 15-20 lbs by mid-summer.

Ready... set... go!

Start Date: JUDDD 1/1/12 + LCHF 12/1/13 (controlling diabetes)
Sorry JUDDD and your body were incompatible. But glad you can fall back on a healthy plan that will get you where you need to be!
