Stevia Glycerite

How is this different than stevia? I found a recipe for LC coconut flour waffles and this is one of the ingredients. I have stevia but not the stevia glycerite. I see you can purchase it at Netrition but would like to know more about it before I buy this pricey item just for waffles.
And if you use it, how do you use it, any recipes? Worth the money?

I like the taste over any other stevia, personally. It's clean and not bitter.

All I know is I never have used it in any of the recipes that calls for it and they have turned out just fine.

But, then again I don't know if they would be better with it. I really don't want to buy a product unless I have to, and so far I don't feel I need to buy this product.

So what would you use as a substitute?

Regular liquid stevia is made by soaking the leaves in alcohol. Some people didn't want the alcohol, so "glycerite" is made by soaking the leaves in glycerin, which is also naturally sweet. If you don't have glycerite, just use regular liquid stevia.

I have used regular stevia liquid and glycerite, and I find that the stevia liquid is more concentrate, so I need less.

I actually just add more of another sweetener of choice and forget about this ingredient.
