Mushroom Gravy

Made this tonight because I had some baby portabella sliced mushrooms I had to get rid of and I thought it would be great with my meatloaf! I was right!

LC Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients:
Butter
1 cup sliced mushrooms (your choice, I used baby bellas)
3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
Salt, Pepper and a pinch of a beef broth cube (I use Knorr's beef broth cubes which are soft and can be pinched)
1/4 tsp Gravy Master
1/4 to 1/2 cup Water

Cooking Directions:
Saute the mushrooms in butter (I used 2 tbs). When soft and golden add heavy whipping cream, salt, pepper, pinch of broth cube, and gravy master.

Simmer on low until it starts to thicken. Add 1/4 cup of water, let simmer to thicken up again and then add the other 1/4 if needed.

Serve hot over sliced meatloaf, chicken, beef, or on mashed cauliflower, etc. Makes 4 1/4 cup servings.

You can get it in your local store near the packaged gravies. It is used to brown and season gravy.
