I like the Almond Breeze, so I'm not going to be any help.

This is my favorite-
but I'm not a milk-drinker.
I use it in recipes.

Hood calorie countdown if you can find it. We have several stores that carry it so I don't have a problem but I have heard other people can't find it.

I second this. I get the chocolate for my coffee. When I couldn't find it, I went to their website and left a message. I got a very nice call telling me the exact stores that had it, not just the chain name.
Often I don't come back to read threads where I've posted. If you want me to see something, please send me a private message. Thanks!

I LOVE the unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Ice cold, it tastes pretty close to cow's milk, to me, but then I haven't HAD cow's milk in ages!

Did you sweeten the almond's milk? I can drink it like that, if I add a little splenda to it.

This week I bought a half gallon size of coconut milk, mostly because I just found it in the organic refrigerated section for only 2.99. It's good but only if I add sweetener to it.

Go to Sticky Threads

You will see a lot of information on making your own
LC milk. I use Hood Dairy because I am blessed that one
of my hometown markets carry it. Sometime though,
I enjoy making my own. We have very good recipes on
the sticky thread. Try it you will have fun.

I too, love the Calorie Countdown. I get the chocolate, but have gotten the 2% for my protein shakes too. Yummy!!! I have also used, and like, the Coconut milk you can find in the refrigerated section of the supermarket. I think the brand is So Delicious. I have also done the half HWC and half water. The kids can not tell the difference when we run out of whole milk and resort to this!

I haven't been able to find Hood lc milk for at least 3 or 4 years. I've begged all the stores to stock it, and the managers say they order it but Hood never ships it.

CarolynF's http://www.lowcarbfriends.com/bbs/lo...carb-milk.html is easy to make and tastes great, though! I've tried and tried to like almond milk and coconut milk, but the best I can say is that they're okay in a pinch.
