Thanks! I can see how this would work with the wonderful double cream you have in the UK, but I'm not sure it would work with our HWC. Your double cream is so nice and thick already.

You have given me some ideas, though! Maybe adding some protein powder to thicken it up some? Or one of the gums?

frozen berries and HWC make a great quick ice cream in the magic bullet (I don't usually add sweetener, I find the berries sweet enough). I usually do a 1/2 cup of strawberries and maybe 1/4 cup cream (I really just eyeball it, the whipped cream will start to whip a bit too so that thickens it up).

I don't have a Bullet, but I do this in the Vitamix - 1/2 cup heavy cream to a 12 ounce bag of frozen fruit. Sweetener to taste. I've done strawberry, blueberry, mixed berry, peach, and pineapple - all frozen fruit chunks from Trader Joe's. Noisy good fun!

I do strawberry ice cream in the ninja--start with frozen chopped strawberries, cover with HWC and sweetner, and whirl--good ice cream--it freezes solid tho--you have to eat a single serving or two right then-

I make strawberry ice cream with about 1/2 cup almond breeze , 1 scoop of vanilla egg white protein powder and 6-7 frozen strawberries and 1 pkg sweetner of choice.
I find strawberries for what ever reason gives it a thick texture like a very thick smoothie that feels like ice cream to me and is very filling, where the other fruits don't seem to work the same. Bananas also work well but are so darn high in carbs. When I use other fruits I usually add some form of guar gum. I also sometimes add Devinci syrup to bump up the flavor.
Adding cream would give it a much creamier texture, I just don't keep it on hand. I used to use Whey protein powder but find the egg white protein pd gives it a better flavor. hope this helps
