Is anyone diabetic and using Protein Power?

IS this plan ok for diabetics? Anyone have any success stories/suggestions? My numbers are well controlled with Atkins but I'm not losing...I think maybe I need a change to break this looong stall.

I am and I have been doing the atkins shake for breakfast and lunch and a low carb dinner and my bs seems to be going down without my insulin for two days so far.

The following daily dosages are suggested: 300-600 micrograms (mcg) of chromium picolinate, 100-400 milligrams (mg) of pantetheine, 200 mcg of selenium, and 450-675 mcg of biotin. They that atkins unsuccessfully done without protein derived from animal products. They also say that it is not recommended for vegetarian . WHY ?

I Did, and it more or less "cured" me

Old thread but, FWIW, I went back to protein power after getting type II diagnosis last october (10 years ago lost 100 lbs on PP in 4 months, then stupidly got complacent for a decade...never gained the weight back, but....)

went from a 300 BS and a 11.9 A1C when diagnosed to a 110 Avg BS and a 5.4 A1C at my follow-up vist 4 months later, and the only med I am on is 2 mg of Glimeperide a day..just in case (and lost another 40lbs in the process BTW)
