PGX Feedback?

Hey guys!

Any of y'all that are trying PGX, can you give us some feedback?

~~~How long have you been taking it?
~~~How many a day?

~~~Is it working?
~~~Any side effects?

Thanks!~

I ordered it today but am hoping that I ordered the right kind. I didn't want the mulberry kind due to possible stomach upset as someone else said.
What kind do you all have?

Hi Butternut,

SlimStyles has PGX IN it. PGX is a proprietary blend of fibers. If you check out my thread "Hunger Free Forever" is has some good info.

Hi Butternut,

I have the PGX Daily, 750 mg. It does not contain Mulberry.

So, PGX Daily is not SlimStyles? They are separate companies? Can you tell me where to get PGX Daily?

I have been using it for a few days now. I take one pill when I get a hunger pang and the PGX takes care of it. I do seem to be a bit more regular, so it has helped there. Of course, you have to drink a lot of water when you take it, so that's an extra benefit. I usually take one capsule around 3:30 in the afternoon and that satisfys my hunger until I get home. I like them and keep them in my purse, although the capsules are quite large.

I was so intrigued I decided to order some. But as a slight twist I am going to try taking them only with dinner and see if it helps me with my nighttime munch mania problem. I have actually cut way back on night time eating, but there are still some nights where I know I am eating too much (legal stuff, but too much). So since this is my only "problem" area, I thought maybe this was worth a shot.

I will let you know how it goes (when I get the goods).

My order should be here tomorrow. I'm looking forward to trying something to get my hunger under control.

I hope it works well for all you peeps that are trying it.

I found out something interesting.... MORE is not better!!!

I think I had too much, as my elimination slowed down. Once I backed off, I was still less hungry, but not all stopped up.

I'm not taking any before breakfast, since I'm usually not that hungry.

I find myself taking ONE 750 mg cap between lunch and supper and it helps me with a smaller supper and helps me in the hungries in the evening.

Remember, everyone is different, so start off slow and advance only according to YOUR needs. Also, if you feel bloated or slow down elimination, that is a sign that you have either too much fiber, or not enough hydration.

I'm not having any problems now and it's still working.

The bottle says to take it with 8 oz of water before a meal, but I'm wondering if I should try to take it between meals. Rigth before a meal doesn't seem like it would give it enough time to work- although my appetite is greatly diminished. And I've been taking no more than two a day so far.

Well I had two before a very early dinner at 4:30 pm and was not hungry but then I got very hungry at around 8:00 pm. I guess it wore off by then.

So, are you only supposed to take them before eating (that is what my bottle says) or anytime you get hungry? TIA!

I didn't take any yesterday or today as sort of an experiment and I absolutely notice a difference. I can't stop snacking whereas when I'm using PGX I have no interest. Back on it tomorrow for sure!

I have taken SlimStyles PGX in the past. While it does have a mild effect on hunger, I find that eating low carb actually controls my hunger much more effectively than PGX does - and it is far less costly. HTH.

I have been using the PGX for about three nights in a row now. I took 2 capsules with 16oz of water after dinner each night. I was hoping this would help with my night time eating "problems". Well, it has! I have not eaten anything for three nights. I had no cravings.

Only the first time I took it did I notice anything. I felt a little nauseous. But since that first time I have not.

Thanks for the suggestion!

I don't really weigh myself and I'm not in a huge hurry to lose weight. So I have no particular comments in that department. I am thinking that cutting out night time eating will certainly help though

I'm finding that the PGX is giving me food cravings.

One caution with PGX - if you take thyroid medication, sure you are not taking the thyroid meds any time close to the PGX (like within 3 or 4 hours) because the PGX will hamper the absorption of the thyroid meds.
