I've never heard of green bananas except for unripe or plantains.

Tonight's experiment was a success; strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cilantro, English cucumber, lemon juice, cocoa nibs, stevia, goat milk yogurt, sour cream, cream cheese and filtered water. This one tastes more like cheesecake than all the others, but it tastes flat without the cinnamon and ginger.

This morning's little horror is a fruit blast made of strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, kale, English cucumber, cilantro, lemon juice, Ceylon cinnamon, roasted cocoa nibs, hemp seeds, stevia, fresh ginger, buttermilk and filtered water. This one tastes very good, more tangy and less sweet than the others. More like cheesecake. Color is dark purple.

Tonight's concoction is tomato salsa, guacamole, English cucumber, sweet peppers, cilantro, red onion, fresh garlic, lemon juice, turmeric, black pepper, pumpkin seeds and commercial chicken broth. It tastes like guacamole soup. And is green just like it. It's very good.

Wow, that sounds like an interesting riff on gazpacho!

It's what I had in the refrigerator. I could have sworn I had more berries in the freezer, but I guess I went through them. I have all kinds of onions that I'll have to cook down and use later on.

Any other fruits will work. Most berries are lower in sugar.
Avaco. is a good fat and it also thickens. Use chia seeds also.{Also chia seeds can be made into a gel.
Most of my add in of fruits are frozen. and I use only 10r 2 fruits.
Bananas that are on the greener side has less sugar. I use those.}Frozen.
They are reg. bananas just not as ripe.
I use plant base protein but also at times use whey protein.
I watch my cals on those too and when they go up to 300 or little over I use as a meal replacement.
I just foundat walmart and I love.
Organic *Cacao 1T. 20 cals.AlsoOrganic>* Superfood blend,{On that one u can get small package and see if u like.
Also move that body. It helps to have buddies to do it with .No matter what plan u are doing.Like I said.I got into smoothies and it works and it is good for u.
There are so many smoothie sites out there with tips and recipes.
Hope to see more posting here. and also lower calaries soup recipes.

I know people use avocado in sweet recipes, but I just can't get used to the idea. Right now, I'm just using my smoothies as a supplement, not as a meal replacement, so whey and protein powders aren't an option right now. I'm doing pretty high fat with egg and chicken salads now.

Yesterday afternoon, I used my Instant Pot to cook chicken thighs and breasts to make chicken salad. The recipe said to cover them in chicken broth. Well, I had commercial, so I used it. To flavor it, I used liquid smoke and onion crystals, garlic powder, black pepper, and then I got cute and added toasted sesame oil. That was a mistake. It covered all the rest of the flavors.

Anyway, I used the chicken broth as a base for another vegetable nutrition blast. I added tomato salsa, English cucumber, red and yellow sweet peppers, roasted garlic hummus, guacamole, blueberries, turmeric, more black pepper, and filtered water.

It was a light tan color, which was weird. Maybe it was because of the blueberries. But, I discovered I had pans of blueberries buried underneath packages of onions and I need to use them. So, in they went. But the drink tasted like toasted sesame oil. I'll drink it, but I won't add the sesame oil to anything like that again, except for maybe stir fry.

The chicken salad was fabulous with smoked almonds, red onion, mayonnaise, and bamboo shoots.

Ugh, bummer on the sesame oil debacle! It's such a strong flavor, it really takes so little to overpower your dish. Been there, done that myself, and even though you'd think I'd know better, I did it again not long ago!

I'm glad it's still edible but I don't envy you eating something you don't care that much for, friend!

Today's mix is very good; three small tomatoes, tomato salsa, small shallot, microwaved, 5 small cloves of garlic, microwaved, 4 inch hunk of English cucumber, 3 tablespoons of hummus, 3 tablespoons of guacamole, large handfuls of Tuscan kale, Kalamata olive oil, chicken broth, turmeric, black pepper, and small amount of ground cumin.

Doused with Everything But the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend and it's done. Served cold.

Stats: Low carb for blood sugar control
It is still HOT here in Phoenix (109 yesterday and already 104 today) so I was wanting something cool and refreshing for lunch. I put 16 oz of vanilla unsweetened almond milk in my new Ninja Pro and added a cup of cream, four squirts of Torani raspberry syrup, four scoops of isopure zero carb unflavored whey protein, half a teaspoon of gluc powder and half a cup of frozen blueberries. I mixed it a bit and added two cups of crushed ice and liquid splenda to taste. It completely filled both our 32 oz insulated steel cups (with a little left over for "taste testing"). Cool, thick, low carb, refreshing, and with enough protein and calories to last us till dinner time.

Today's Barbie's Green Cuisine brew consists of two small tomatoes, copious amounts of mild tomato salsa, guacamole, yellow and red sweet peppers, hummus, white bean dip, kale, English cucumber, shallot, 6 small garlic cloves (both cooked), lemon juice, turmeric, that new Kalamata olive oil I opened up recently which my plebeian palate tells me is not as good as the regular olive oil, black pepper, cumin and commercial chicken broth. Tastes a little "grassy" so I covered it with Trader Joe's every day seasoning. It's very good. Even if it's green. Very, very green. This would also be a good candidate for nutritional yeast, I think. But not now.

I confess, I was lazy today and hungry. I threw strawberries, raspberries and blackberries, with Ceylon cinnamon, lemon juice, half and half, cream, Splenda and filtered water. Color was bright pink and was delicious. I felt like a little kid after school drinking a Kool aid smoothie.

I was semi lazy and threw in strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, lemon juice, cilantro, English cucumber, Ceylon cinnamon, unsweetened vanilla flavored almond milk, roasted cocoa nibs, and Splenda. It's okay. I think the cocoa and cilantro....not such a great mix.

I've heard of that; mostly like Aztec, or something, right?

Tonight's experiment is tomato, tomato salsa, one small shallot, avocado, three small peppers, spinach, cucumber, a few strands of cilantro, chicken broth, black pepper, turmeric and cumin powder. It's pretty bland and needs something. I threw in a teaspoon of that nutritional yeast and that seems to do the trick.
