121 today, have been all over the place the past few weeks, missing weigh ins and seeing strange highs and lows when I did. But 121 is just fine.

Iím weighing in after a long break in which Iíve maintained fairly well, not as well as Iíd like though. Iíd like to find the equilibrium between my goal weight, 125 lbs and my weight when I consume those things I still want in my life and consider worth the compromise. Iím not as strict as I was when I got to goal and donít want to be, but there are things Iím eating Iíd be happy to stop! I need my carbs lower and to prepare more delicious veggies. Also, strategies for relieving mild anxiety, like yoga and other exercise, going places that are fun and donít require eating and drinking, deep breathing, focusing on positive thoughts and my hobbies.

Sorry for going on so long. It helps to see it in writing. Suggestions are welcome!

Loretta, we don't celebrate T'day, although some American restaurants in the big cities do specials.

I lived in the States in the late 60's and loved sharing the family meals with friends. And again, when we lived overseas, many of our US friends would include us in their celebrations.

I am sure you will all enjoy a great Thanksgiving.

I was away for a few days last week but on Saturday I weighed 121.

Thanksgiving day was so nice and calm for me this year. I loved it.

121 but worth every bite of stuffing, mashed potato, sweet potato casserole, grape salad, a wine cooler, olives, pastachio salad./ How did I fit that all in. I passed up on the cake.

139. Not so bad after the most food oriented day of the year. I took a couple of second servings and a glass of wine I could have easily skipped. The coming week should see me back in my preferred lane.

136.2. Another lb down and when I go to the Dr I will remain in the 130ís no matter how heavy my clothes and shoes are. Yay. I have a great little structure going on at home. Now to refine my restaurant behavior.

It's been a while, but I've been lax and adding too many carbs. Naturally the scales jump up after a heavy carb day. Yesterday I was 122 lb so I'll use that number. I find it too stressful to keep maintaining a lower weight so have revised my 2018 numbers.
I stopped recording daily calories and macros and that's been very "freeing". I still weigh daily and doubt I will ever get rid of that habit.
I'm walking briskly every day for 30 minutes and follow up with a 15 min strength training routine.
Currently looking at a new WOE - maybe Atkins?
What's the easiest plan you've followed (i.e. no counting involved)?

Problem resolved After visiting Stargazey's blog I'm taking Atkins on board. I'll start with Induction in the New Year and I'll need to revert to recording carbs and calories. The plan is similar to Dukan's and I like all the foods allowed. Thanks Stargazey.
