OMG! Fried Brussel Sprouts!

Went out to a local restaurant last weekend and had the most awesome fried brussel sprouts with bacon and maybe a little balsamic vinegar! Has anyone ever made these?

I ovenroast them in bacon fat with some garlic salt and then you can toss some bacon bits in after they're cooked.

I love B. Sprouts!

We had these last week. Cut them in half, salt and garlic on them then into the frying pan. We thought they were great.

I actually threw a bag of them in the deep fryer after I was done with my wings and a bag of green beans.

I cut them in half and "pan roast" them in the
frying pan with bacon fat! One of my very
favorite vegetable choices!!!

OK...Get ready to salivate...I have some cooking right now. I cleaned, trimmed, cut them in half and steamed them for about five minutes. While they were steaming, I fryed some bacon pieces and then threw in the sprouts. I also added some minced garlic. They are simmering right now and getting a nice brown. I also threw in about a tablespoon of good balsamic vinegar (no more as it has sugar in it). They smell awesome!

Dixie Barkley, I always cook mine from frozen in the microwave
for 3 or 4 minutes, then cut them in half and fry them until
they start turning brown, usually about 10 min. Just had
some for supper! (as we say here in AL!)

I had these for the first time on New Years Day when someone brought them to a pot luck. They are sooo good! She got the recipe from Rachel Ray on Food Network.
I just used frozen bag of brussels sprouts, let thaw enough to be able to cut them in half. Cook up the bacon, cut up an onion and fry the sprouts and onion together until done, crumble on the bacon and fry just a bit more. Added a bit of salt and pepper,
That isn't the exact recipe, but how can you go wrong when bacon is involved?

Yes! Saw it on FoodNetwork and tried that night!!!! YUM!

Clean and Slice each brussel sprout end core stem off
Slice each brussel sprout in half
Pan saute in either olive oil (alternatively bacon fat) until lightly golden brown. Sprinkle with garlic powder, pepper and toss with a small amount of Balsamic Vinegar.
Continue to cook for a few more minutes, serve up and enjoy!
