TUESDAY’S ROLL CALL, APRIL 24

Get a good night’s rest, friends

Ginny, bet you are glad to be home sweet home!

Hoping Babette gets home ok, doesn’t sound like her RV trip was pleasing.

Morning all

Ginny hope your trip home was uneventful.

Ziva is having a lot of trouble with her paw. I've taken her in a couple of times for laser treatments but it's not doing too well. It's arthritis. But getting worse. I feel for her as my thumbs are getting more and more useless as the months and years go by.

Going to start pulling things out of the closet that I want to take on the trip. Will edit as the week progresses. Checking the weather there I'll still need sweaters!

Be well

Anne

Anne, I’m sorry poor Ziva is still having that painful paw . Would they try cortisone injection, or is that only for humans? Poor thing. How much luggage will you take, one piece and a tote bag?

Anne, Who will be watching Ziva while you're away? Have you let the vet know they have permission to treat the dog if they bring her in, if it's needed? I'd always arranged this with the vet ahead of time, just in case, when I was away and my dog was having issues.

Hope it settles down soon,
Michele

I’m home! Flight was uneventful except for a very chatty woman, ha. So good to be home. I feel exceptionally tired today..........there was a lot to contend with while away, maybe that’s got something to do with it.
Beautiful weather today, all windows and door open.

Ginny, now you can "decompress" at least.........another challenge over with. Are your hives still gone?

Anne, Michele, makes a good point about getting your Ziva sitter signed up to be able to get any Vet care needed. I remember something happening with Babette's other cat when they were gone, and someone had to contact them while on vacation somewhere, in order for the Vet to treat the cat. Heck, it's like having a kid!

It's already 78 now, need to get a few things done before we leave to take the car, I bet it's going to cost, because I sure want to make sure the AC in that car is in top shape. AC here is a safety issue if it doesn't work, in Calif, it was just a "pleasure" thing because it never got death defyingly hot where we lived.

Ginny glad you are back home safely. Yes feeling extra tired will be normal probably for the rest of this week. Rest up and enjoy being in your own space.

Busy morning, oil change, off to visit friend who had stroke, several trips in town. Found out that my driver's license had expired when I went to buy some beer. The gal checked it when I went for my purchases and low and behold, expired. Just a few days April 16. I went to the courthouse to get renewed. I am good now until 2022.

sorry to hear that Begete about the plans. I agree with Doris, the more people involved the more things can get messed up. Don't take any of it personally. It just happens.

DD and DGD have arrived in Dubai and have now gone to bed after their long overnight flight. She sent me a pic already. So I was glad to see that.

Terrible crazy driver mowed people down in Toronto yesterday. So very sad for these innocent people just out walking on a sunny afternoon. Lots of families will be grieving and lives changed for many.

The usual chores around here today for me and having a quiet day at home.
