This ol' bod doesn't seem to want to let go, but I will show it who is boss LOL
I'm doing my best to fast, eat VLC, and lose 20 lbs in 2 months is my goal.

Are you doing JUDDD right now?

Yes it does, Kissa! My life would be far different than it now is if I had not discovered JUDDD and these boards. Looking forward to many more years over at LCN with you and Carly and ShrinkingWoman. Love you all!

I feel so darn good tonight (day three of this week's <200 cal fast). Zero hunger, maximum energy, serious shrinkage. Don't know what is going on but I love it.

Ha! It is indeed nice to be in control, Leona! I still feel fantastic (following four hours of gardening this morning--I love these sessions when my amazing garden man comes over and we get stuff done like nobody's business) on day four. Love ya!

Hi All!!
So sorry I've missed so many posts and a big humongous thanks to pOrtia for PMing me to tell me the site is shutting down . I know I have been absent for a bit but have been meaning to get back so now I need to get caught up on posts so I can find out where you all might be going. I'll get caught up soon I hope but I'll certainly make a point of it.

A note from me in the meantime. I was a broken record saying over and over that work was beyond stressful, and it really has gone off the charts. I've been working long days, nights and even weekends and when not working I've been just staying off the computer to give my eyes a rest!! also trying to pay attention to my four legged companion DP and get out for walks, trying to visit with family and friends. Of the approximate 40 lbs I lost last year I have regained maybe 20 from stress eating and drinking combined with the winter reduced activity. Finally things are turning around, I've started rotations again but its sometimes hard to get back in to it. I haven't been so good at staying really low on DDs because I can't let myself get spacey with so much work stuff going on so I'm doing my best to do work arounds - I skip meals when I can, I eat more on DDs but still try to keep them around 600 -800 cal, etc. I actually bought this fasting-mimicking diet, have you heard of this? it is supposed to give you all the same benefits of fasting - not necessarily from a weight loss point of view, more from the changes in blood parameters, etc, but I got it as a sort of "kick off" to get back to rotations. I didn't care for the food very much but for the 5 day diet it did remind me that I can eat low calorie or not at all no problem. So although it was a total waste of money from a food perspective, it was worth it for the mental reset.

Anyway- the point is I have been back to JUDDDing and waiting to check in here and you see how successful I've been. I'll get to reading up but I am really hoping I can follow you all to wherever you end up going. Being a part of this community has been so helpful to me in so many ways, I don't want to lose it.

Oh on a separate note, I'm interviewing for a new job this coming week. A former boss of mine got in touch and offered it to me- well, I still have to go talk to the major players to see if I like it and they like me but since he is the hiring manager, my chances are pretty good. It would be much less stress and I would actually be getting paid what I should be getting paid (I found out recently I am SIGNIFICANTLY underpaid in my current company). Of course the big huge bonus would be the work-life balance and getting my health back on track!!

Can't wait to get caught up on everyone!! missed you guys!!!!!

Thanks to you! I also signed up on the future other chat board but I haven' t had a chance to look thru it yet (I think I just got approved). are things slowing down here in anticipation of that?

Does anyone know- will this site still exist as "archive" or is it gone completely? is it just the chat boards or is it all of LCfriends? so much I don't know.

Today is a DD and I think its the first in a while where I really feel back in to the swing of things. and now I am a little mad at myself for losing my focus and re-gaining. Grrr. oh well, at least I stopped it.

Interview on Wednesday- I almost think I will take it (assuming of course I get an offer) even if its "just ok" so I can move on from this place. But still have lots to do so off I go. I really need to get caught up on these threads....

Yes. To be expected. I for one plan to post new content mainly on the new site for May. And welcome for PMing you -- can't exist without some phoe!

Sadly, I've read it will be gone. People are allowed to preserve their own posts, and many are bringing them over, but yeah, end of an era.

I'm a believer in changing things up when your brain has been telling you for a long time that it is fried. Sometimes logical thinking can take a hike. Keep us posted!
