Lol Sandy if you hadn't left the link I wouldn't be here now!

We went to church with our Nashville friends. Ricky Skaggs was in the congregation. Lots of music.
Ate Mexican afterward. Just soup.
Because at 4 we gathered at our friends' daughter's home and had more family members and really dinner.
Really heart-filling.

Might head toward Memphis tomorrow, but maybe not.

How wonderful. If you go to Memphis, are you going to Graceland? We loved it.

Okay, today I took the heat treatment for allergies. Can eat only cold stuff and have to keep the house cool. Gary has his jacket on. This is until 11 am. Lolo.

DH's Mississippi family ended up in Memphis later in their lives. His grandmother lived just a block away from Graceland before she went to assisted living.
I've never been to Graceland, and I'm not sure DH would be interested.
Carolyn when we take a girls trip, let's include Graceland!

I think we'll stop lollygagging in Nashville and actually leave tomorrow. We went to the Opryland hotel just to see. Had some fun eating! When I get home I'll probably be as big as Texas!

Yes, we can do Graceland. We walked through the Opryland Hotel when we were there. It is an easy place to get lost in...Lots of great LC barbecue in Memphis. We ate at the Commissary in Greenville cuz the other places were busy. The bass pro place downtown on the River is a great place to walk through. We didn't do that, but others said it was lovely.

Have a super time.

Crackerpacker Day! Yippee.

Villanova was great last night. Poor WSU got picked to play them in the first round. The gal I worked with in the church nursery is going to be a cheerleader for WSU next year. Of course, she cheers competitively..

Check in later.

Ooh, I had both sides adjusted. I was out!

Sarah's sister had her baby girl, Gracie yesterday. She was 8.1 pounds. She was a C-section, so had a nice round face..

Dh is fading away.. I need to give him more protein when he eats. I told him he should have at least 56 grams a day. Even if you eat OMAD, shouldn't you get your minimum protein in?

He is just giving blood now. Hope he doesn't pass out. I told him to eat the cookie afterwards.

Carolyn I think a man needs at least 80 grams of protein/day at the bare minimum.
I think 100 a day is better.

I know, Judy... we shall see how it goes. It is hard to get that much protein in one meal..unless you drink a protein shake!

Nice sunny day. Going to BA this afternoon for oil change and take a peek at the kids' house in progress. Brett has Friday afternoons off. Then dinner at Dink's with our small group. Gary will be very hungry..I'm sure.

Hi ladies,

Yes, I sent the link for Gary to read! Thanks, Sandy...

Snow! We got about 1/2 an inch..

I'll try to post the outside of the kids' house. We walked around the muddy messy yard and peeked in the window. Looks nice! They are couch and table and chair shopping today.

I rejoined Active LowCarber which is similar to this board. Maybe we can find a place.
Charski went to the Lounge and started a thread for Displaced Low Carbers..

I also belong to Linda's FB. Don't you, Judy?

I do belong to Linda's Facebook group and have enjoyed it, mostly. They seem like young, funny, sassy, smart girls. But I don't know how much longer I'm going to even be on Facebook.
It just doesn't seem to interest me anymore.
I joined where Charski pointed.

I just like this format so much more than Facebook.
I'm really so sad this is shutting down.
So many amazing recipe creators.

Thank God all of us are Facebook friends.

Someone should tell Buffy. What is her name on FB? It is escaping me right now.

Oh my, I forgot to post this about Connies poor dog, Gizmo. He has been at the vet's office since Tuesday. He has pancreatitis, severe diabetes (blood sugars way over 500) and damaged kidneys and liver. He is deathly sick, but she can't let him go. Now he has terrible diarrhea. I think she says Monday will be the day they put him to sleep. She can't afford the vet bill now. Poor Connie...she is not good at making big decisions sometimes.

Cindy she is Fern in real life.

Carolyn I can hardly stand to think of that dog in so much pain and her failing to act on its behalf. So sad.

I went over to the new forum too and apparently I've been a member there for years but never posted. I used my same name.

I too am getting disillusioned/tired of FB. I don't even know why I keep it active. I guess because it is an easy way to stay in touch with so many people that I probably wouldn't otherwise.

Okay, I feel less pannicky about the new forum.

I am thinking of getting a $250 phone. Reviews say it's good, but the camera is laggy. That can be SO annoying, but I am just not willing to pay so much for a new phone, I guess. Maybe a camera app will help it. It did help my now deceased precious phone.

Poor Connie has been in bed all day crying about her doggie. Getting another dog sometime is probably not a good idea or should be suggested. With David in the nursing home, she can be freer to visit her kids. I'll see her in the morning.

$250 isn't a bad price...

My allergist treated me for hormones this am. Just having veggies with oil margarine for dinner. You can't have any food hormones either for 25 hours. He said he doesn't trust the Braums no hormone meat for this procedure.
