Hi guys....Started having more leg pain the last couple months of the school year attributed it to having an exceptional demanding morning class and being the end of year. I've been off almost 5 weeks. It has gotten worse now spreading to my entire back and neck. The downside of going to one of the top specialist in the country is having to wait 3 1/2 weeks for an appointment. I go July 3rd. I'm sure I will need multiple MRI's and procedures. Anyway that's why I didn't have it in me to do the elliptical today.

You get a pass on the elliptical Puppy, I'm so sorry your going through this. The tests and procedures are almost as unnerving as the pain. I'm sure you will be back to full power in no time.

I'm so sorry to hear about this, puppy! I know you love your exercise and it sucks to be in pain again. At least July 3 is already Monday now...hang in there and I wish you well.

Puppy, you can actually do the demand right on your computer! I take my little Chromebook with me (I work out of town 3 days a week) or I can use my work laptop, and play it in my hotel room. You can even use your iPhone or Android. It's amazing how far we've come with technology...Plus it means I have absolutely no excuse.

Thanks guys. I actually have pain daily regardless it just happens to be worse. Probably time to get the nerves burned in my neck and back which takes 6 visits out patient after the MRI 's and another office visit...so it's gonna be awhile. I refuse to take pain medication as getting off it is why I started exercising! Happy, believe it or not I am the worse with technology I know what things can be done . I don't even own a smart phone! Lol...

Glad you got the message! Here's to you and cutie! And Phoenix, Arizona - isn't that a song!

I can't exercise, as health reasons sadly.

All best wishes. Keep your light shining.

Oh my goodness, puppy, that sounds horrible. I'm so glad to know the exercise is what keeps you off pain meds. Given how often people can become dependent on opioids, I don't blame you one bit for avoiding pain medication.

My husband had shoulder surgery last year and didn't take even one of the pills prescribed to him! I can't say the same for me...when I had my kidney donation surgery in 2012, I did take the Percocet during the first 3-4 days of recovery. But only just as the pain was bordering on unbearable. Then it was Tylenol only.

You're a courageous person! I can't help but admire your strength and perseverance.

Thanks Happy, I actually was on a high dosage of opioids for over a decade for pain 4 times a day. I never abused them by taking more but it's still very dangerous. It took everything I had to get off them and take up exercise. That is why I push myself so hard...check out Piyo and cize. Piyo is a lot harder than it looks. Crazy me was thinking of buying the T25....

8 Miles of Walking at the FF then 25 Times Up and Down The Bleachers and 20 Squats when I got home I fell out on the Front Lawn, My husband came to the door and said, Ya might want to get up from there, the next door neighbor called and said you had passed out, he's ready to call 911 Then he said, that's the one who already thinks your a nut job cause you walk around the neighborhood with those Canned Beans. I looked up and said Tell him to mind his own business. OK Fine he said, But when the Rescue Squad pulls in the driveway I'm gonna say your some homeless person

My first post here....so
I'm 9 months post surgery for cancer. It was the 4th surgery in a year.I had a long recovery because of an injury near my incision. Then a hip problem grim 1989 was resolved with PT last month! I was doing well with the exercises until I got the flu, I've started again.
10 minutes PT exercises 2 X day.
10 minutes walking.

Puppy, I have read a few people comment that T25 is hard on their hips, back, and elbows. Have you looked at the new YOUv2 program? More lower impact but still keeps you moving.

I realized today that I need to think of exercise like weight loss, every day counts and one day at a time. It doesn't all happen over night.

Happy I will look into the T25 more I did actually look into the one you mention, fitness wise I think it would be too easy for me once I get the nerves burned again.

Enemy, I absolutely love your stories of your family because they sound exactly like me and my kids. Lol

Sunshine I am happy you took me up on my offer and joined us like I said the other women are great and very supportive and sure enough they already welcomed you. Like I told you I literally started at 5 minutes a day so your way ahead of me! I've had to decrease the amount I do everyday due to additional pain this week but I am still giving it my all and Enemy and Happy are cheering me on regardless. Do what you can and if you can't that is understandable in our group. Post anyway we still want to hear how your doing. You can do anything you set your mind too! Best wishes on your journey.

Day 4
Did all my PT (X2) and upped 2 of them
Did 8 minutes up and down on a step with a 5 minute walking cool down.
I should count this degree of exhaustion as a plus.
Going to measure tomorrow since the scale isn't budging.
