Hey all. I'm still here. I have just been sick and am feeling better. It turns out that I will probably be having to get my gall bladder removed. I haven't see the surgeon yet. They did a ultra sound on my abdo and found that my GB is not functioning properly. That was what's been causing me all my problems last week. With the exception of a few days I still have been walking. Today I walked 45min. going 2.47 miles. I did jog at 4mph for 5 min. I am trying to get back into my running, but not pushing it too much. If I have surgery I will be down for a while to heal, but I plan on getting right back in there. I hope everyone has a Happy Hump Day Wednesday!!!

Oh, no! Tami, I am so sorry to hear the news about surgery for the removal of your GB... Wishing you all the best...good job on your effort to keep walking/running, but don't overdo anything!

Great job, TM Buddies! Keep it up! This morning I walked 35:03 mins, 2.00 miles, 309 cals. Today, I had an interview for a part time job and I got it!!! I start in the morning on Thursday (tomorrow). Just a couple of days, but better than not having money coming in.

Have a good evening!

Good morning, TM Buddies! I finally have a part time job which starts this morning after two years of searching. I cut my workout short this morning to prepare myself for leaving early. I walked slow because my left ankle was bothering me. I walked 20:06 mins, 1.04 miles @ 3.0-3.3 mph, 163 cals. burned (not much, but something).

Have a nice day!

Congrats on the job, Del!

Tami, sorry about the gallbladder stuff....I had mine out 8 years ago and it wasn't too bad. I was back to biking less than a week after surgery...

Just got home from physical therapy a little while ago. Did treadmill and strengthening exercises and have more to do here at home tonight along with my basement biking. She said if I'm up to it I should do all the exercises twice a day so I'll do that starting tomorrow. She said she sees improvement already! Yay!

Thanks, Cindy and Linda, for the congrats and best wishes! It's a nice and cozy small law office with wonderful people. I just have to learn the office techniques and equipment usage, then I will be off and running!

Yesterday, I took a rest day, but looking forward to walking on the TM and thinking about my DVDs with Shaun T - got to pull them out and start dancercizing!

Linda, I am so happy that the PT said she sees improvement already; that's great news! Cindy, we look forward to you posting your work outs, but enjoy your family visit - there's nothing like it!

Have a great weekend everyone!

I had my gallbladder out years ago and was back to normal within a couple of weeks. Hopefully you will be to tamigirl.

Congrats on the job Del.

Kissa- enjoy all those steps and shopping with your daughter.

I skipped this weekend because I walked 12000 steps on Friday at work and 12703 on Thursday at work. I will start back tomorrow.

I'm still treadmilling. I did my usual 45 min. walk, but jogged 2-5 min. intervals @ 4.2mph. It was very comfortable. I would like to incorporated some weight training in my exercise regime to try a tone up some. I am also drinking more water. Have a great Monday everyone!

That's so funny! I was floored when I saw CATS 101 about the Sphynx - having very little hair, if any. They are beautiful!!!

Everyone's doing fantastic! Keep up the good work! Again, thanks for the congrats and well wishes about the job!

Here's my stats:

Monday, 2/22 - 40:10 mins, 2.20 miles, 340 cals.
Tuesday, 2/23 - 25 mins, Shaun T's Hips, Buns & Thighs DVD - what a workout! Boy, am I ever out of shape when it comes to the lunges, etc. Got to get on the ball...I loved it!

I have have three baby shower centerpiece orders to fill between now and the next week, so I will most likely start on them early this morning and take a rest day. If I make some headway on them, I will walk on the TM - but tomorrow morning, I will work out with Shaun T's DVD again. My legs feel like they are hard as a rock in the calves and thighs already! WOO HOO!

I've been doing my PT exercises as well as bike and treadmill daily. Working on improving speed and strength each day. Yesterday's PT was the hardest I've had and it wore me out but in a good way. Today I'll be doing my at home PT exercises which is everything I do when I go to PT. Nice to feel like I'm accomplishing something again!

Great job, Linda!!! I am so proud of you. You are building physical strength and really are encouraging us!

Yesterday, I walked 38 mins., 2.03 miles, 315 cals. Today, I was supposed to exercise with a friend, but we didn't get a chance to, so it turned out to be a rest day for me. I will work out this weekend to get back in routine.

I have a close friend who has joined a challenge group and I'm going to join for March - drinking more water. There are different challenges, adding more greens, exercising, drinking water, and/or clean eating for the month.

I've been drinking lemon water along with taking the probiotics daily and I am finding the gassy and bloating feelings are subsiding. So, the water is helping. Keeping positive in our journey is so important to achieving our goals.

So, keep on keeping on and have a great weekend everybody! We can do it!

Good afternoon, TM Buddies! Hope everyone had a great weekend! No workout over the weekend, but this morning, I walked 40 mins, 2.14 miles, 334 cals on my TM.

Thanks for asking, Kind, but she's just setting it up for our personal group - no signing up for an online site. Check out the challenges here on Low Carb Friends - I am sure you can join one of those groups. That may work for you since you're a go getter! Let me know how you make out!

I thought that was a good idea for the challenge since we've been encouraging each other as close friends to get going and she came up with the idea to do it. I had told her about Low Carb Friends and what we do and she was also inspired by our logging in and sharing workouts, etc. We text each other daily as a group and encourage one another, just as we do here.

I am doing the water challenge this month where I will drink at least two bottles of Poland Spring a day - which is a stretch for me. That will come to at least 46 oz. a day for 31 days.

Have a great day ladies and keep up the good work - glad to see your posts! Will check in tomorrow!

Still exercising....took Saturday as a rest day. Yesterday I did an outdoor walk for the first time in over a year. Only about 15 minutes or so long but I was happy with it. I also did my PT exercises last night along with some basement biking.

Today, so far, I did another outdoor walk (it's cold and windy out there and supposed to snow tonight). I did about 16 minutes. I'll be doing the PT exercises and basement biking later today....I've got some painting I want to get done before I get too tired. I'm doing a painting that will be a gift and I have to finish it today in order to let it dry and then seal it Wednesday.

The water challenge sounds like a good idea. I have an app on my phone to remind me to drink but I sometimes ignore it....naughty me!

Thanks Del,Just thought I would ask. I think that is a great thing you and friend are doing. Keeps you more into doing the right things.
Good luck.
Today went to y and I got in another 8 miles. Did that in 2.5 hrs. I think good for I have short legs.
On the fit bit I did over 15,ooo last few days.
Tomorrow is weigh in March Im going to really kick this in. Going to lower cals. from 1.200 t0 1,000 and no snacks after 8Pm. I go to bed after 1am so that should give body time to rest and burn unwanted fat cells.
Keep up the good work ladies.
Still No diet pop for 2 months{ That is hard.

I had PT this afternoon....she pushed me hard today. I still have my basement biking and at home exercises to do after dinner. My painting is almost done...just a couple of finishing touches and it's done. One of my best so far!

My therapist has set a goal of 1 mile for outdoor walking...that would be 5 laps on my street. As soon as it warms up again I'll work on it. We had a snowstorm today and it's cold and windy.

Good morning, ladies! Yesterday, I worked out with Shaun T's Fat Burning Cardio DVD (30 mins); this morning, I walked 35 mins, 2.01 miles, 312 cals, and worked out with Shaun T's Hips, Buns & Thighs DVD (25 mins). This is something that I've wanted to do for the longest to push myself, so I am putting a plan together to work out alternating the combination of workouts on different days. If I focus and work out five days (Mon-Fri) and rest the weekend, that would be great! It's all in the mind....

Linda, I'm so happy for you - taking the outdoor walk! It's wonderful that you are improving and strengthening day by day - you're such an encouragement to us all - great job! With the spring coming, you will be able to reach your goal of 1 mile!

Kind - yes, it is a good thing when friends can work together on their fitness and health goals. You are doing a great job as well - keep it up! I noted that you go to sleep after 1 a.m. - wow! I can't seem to keep my eyes open after 8:00 sometimes!

Have a wonderful day, TM Buddies!!!! WE CAN DO THIS!

Hello TM buddies!!! I still have been working out on the TM.
Monday- Walked 45 min. burning 473 calories and going 2.81 miles. I jogged 20 min. straight at 4.5 mph.
Tuesday- Walked 45 min. going 2.85 miles burning 477 calories. I jogged 20 min. straight at 4.5 mph.
Wednesday- Walked 45 min. burning 385 calories and going 2.58 miles. I was only able to jog 1-5 min. interval at 4.5 mph.
I went to my surgeon today to get the results of the HIDA scan I had on Saturday. She said that my GB is functioning normally. I don't need surgery. She said that the sludge I had in my GB is what was giving me the problems and that it has cleared out so this is great news.

That's great news, Tami!

I've been doing my PT exercises most days. Had a busy weekend with company so didn't get them done on the weekend. Not sure if I'll get to them today or not. Have a scan of my saliva glands today and can't eat or drink anything till it's over so I don't want to get busy exercising and not be able to drink my water. If I'm up to it I'll be exercising tonight.
