It's easy (sort of) and not hard to break like a big'un. NOT AT ALL....

Michael. Hey buddy. You can't do a single thing about yesterday. Not last week, not last year, not even one second ago. Fuggieaboutit! (Yeah, beat yourself up a little and go on your way.) Have a good day, today.

I amemeber my first post on this forum. It said something like.... "Okay. I'll play." I also amember thinking "this won't help" but whatever. Golly, was I WRONG! Accountability might just have been the missing ingredient all along...for me, anyhow.

The very fact you, Michael D Potter, (the D stands for Doofus)....cared enough to join this Merry Band of Misfits and fess up every day, means you've got a leg up on the rest of the masses that'll need 6 BIG pallbearers.... and way sooner than their loved ones would EVER have wished.

This place is AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) for fatties. I spent a good amount of windshield time in '08 with an older guy who went through AA many years ago. He brought up the AA principles again and again while we drove all over Kansas. It utterly changed his life.

Honest it did.

Obesity is not less dangerous to our (own) lives than alcoholism, is it?? KEEP WEIGHING. KEEP POSTING. And PLEEEEEEEAASE. Try to act nice, for one steenking time in your pathetic life.

Anyhow, if this were easy, you'd be on the cover of men's magazine with a 6 pack @ 170# posing for the pictures, benching 320.

Wait.....if it were easy, there'd BE NO MEN'S MAGAZINE!

So man up and just do today, bucko. Yesterday is in the rear view mirror.

The Diet Doctor site is awesome! It's worth the 9 for me. I may pony up another 10 for the same Gym my wife terrorizes every night.

Hey Terri, how about "The Last 48"?

I used to watch A&E's The First 48 as often as I could. I kinda got tired of looking at the same dead people and the same drug infested gang bangers that can barely speak English, yo.

I'm starting to miss Kit pretty bad. I sure hope turning this forum into the print version of "Guntalk Radio" didn't do her in! That'd be my fault. It's such a personal thing...like politics or religion.

Went for a walk this morning. Bit farther than I was happy with but I made it. I'm glad to have more strength back after the fast. I don't like feeling weak. I can't even think about another multi day fast. It is definitely something I don't wanna do again anytime soon. I don't mind IF though, will go back to it most days after this week. That being said, I'm looking forward to buffalo chicken on Friday night when DH comes home. Anyone ever try making a LC version of mozzarella sticks? I was thinking of taking cheese strings, dipping in egg wash and battering with pork rinds/Parmesan and frying or air frying. Think it would be good?

Also Diet Doctor has great recipes! Love that site.

Hi, Every one.
Today is day 3 of fasting. {2 more to go.[Hope
Last night was hard for some reason. and I kinda felt wiped out. But Now better and ready to keep taking it for 2 days more.
Plus got on scale and it help my head and said> You may see 115}Friday so keep at it.
I want to also start working on looking into Brown fat{Yes we all have it. and that is what we want to burn the yellow fat. Good read.{Don't understand it yet. But I knew about it couple years ago.
Weight as of today 118
Even through I have stayed with fasting a short while It still is hard at times.
Going to gym and do something.
