Need help with making BBQ chicken, please!

I bought a couple of bottles of Guy's BBQ sauce (Original and Spicy), based on recs here. And I have some chicken breasts I need to cook tonight.

How do I do this? Just grill the chicken and brush on the sauce? Cook the chicken IN the sauce? I am not a natural cook and still learning, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm thinking maybe add some onions?

Oooh! I love the crockpot recipe I got here that just has a block of cream cheese, chicken breasts, and a jar of salsa. Would that work with a jar of BBQ sauce instead? Creamy shredded BBQ chicken?

Just grill the chicken, basting with the sauce a couple times on each side as you grill and turn it. Chicken pieces usually takes us about 45 minutes to grill. Wuarters and halves will take longer, of course.

How 'bout oven bake or grill your chicken boobs in foil until done, shred and mix in BBQ sauce and top with cheese! Easy...no standing over the grill...voila dinner!

I used Guy's BBQ sauce for the first time for 4th of July.
We were impressed with how good this sauce is for the
small number of carbs.

You can grill as Peggy mentioned or fry the chicken, just cook
it anyway you want to. The sauce can be heated and served
on the side or possibly use the recipe that you like and
do the BBQ sauce the last 20 minutes. In any case you cannot
go wrong with this sauce. I got mine through Netrition and
bought 3 bottles of the regular. Yummy

This exactly! Chicken on the grill tastes best IMO, this is how we do ours.

Thanks everyone! By the way, when I say "grill," I mean my George Foreman.

I love the foil idea!

Don't put the sauce on too soon if you're grilling, as it will burn fairly easily. If you're doing boneless skinless breasts in the Foreman, I'd cook them about 15 minutes, then brush with sauce and cook til done, probably another 5 minutes or so.

You can do them in the crockpot but you really don't need the cream cheese - just pour the sauce over them. Add a chopped or sliced onion if you like it.
