Sugar's Cucumbers with Sour Cream Dressing

3 English Cucumbers
1 Tsp. Salt
1/2 Cup Dukes Mayo
1 Cup of Daisy Sour Cream
1 Tbsp. Fresh Minced Basil Leaves
2 Tbsp. ACV
1 Tbsp. Minced Onion
1/4 Tsp. Salt
Dash of Ground Black Pepper

Slice Cucumbers Thin and sprinkle with 1 Tsp Salt then sit them in the Fridge for 30 minutes. Pull them out and Use a towel or paper towels and press the excess water out. Combine the rest of the ingredients and Mix well. Pour over the Cucumbers and enjoy.

We don't have Duke's in this neck of the woods. Would Best Foods/Hellmans be about the same thing?

The only real difference is Dukes is Sugar Free but Best foods or Hellman's would be fine.

Charski, they did a taste test on mayonnaises on America's Test Kitchen. Dukes won because it had only egg yolks, not whole eggs. I'm pretty sure Hellman's is the next best one.
