SATURDAY’S ROLL CALL, APRIL 14

Weather alerts all evening, but the big hail missed us.

See you here or there in the morning.

Good morning everyone,

Am supposed to go on a hike this morning to a cave preserve, but with the storms last night and the cool weather this morning, I don't know if it's going to be cancelled - Will find out soon enough, I guess.

Then in the afternoon, I'm signed up to go to a training session at the animal shelter.

For those of you who have Amazon Prime, take a look at the Icelandic show 'Trapped'. Season 1 has 10 episodes and, so far, I've watched 4 - each one is sooooo good!

Hope you all have a great day,
Michele

Thanks for the recommendation. Wish I had more time for tv. And reading. Seems to take me longer and longer to get through a book. Perhaps I'm not choosing good enough books.

The Solos are going over to Alabama to eat tonight. A seafood place that is all the rage! Tomorrow I'll drive to Atlanta in the rain. At least that will wash the pollen off my car!!

Have a good weekend.

Anne

Freezing rain, ice pellets and snow for us up here starting today. Sunday and Monday too. Oh joy! Keep safe and hope the power stays on!

Glad to hear the good news about the new site.

Ella's horse made it home safe and sound. He arrived from Florida by road yesterday. Ella went to greet him. He recognized her. He just loves her, so the love affair has begun. LOL!

Thank You Michele for recommending that show, unfortunately, I don't have that channel.

Waving to All....

Lots of rain here in Ky but no hail or freezing rain. I should feel better.

Susan, glad that Ella's horse and Ella are reunited and can get better acquainted now.

Michele bet you get lots of tips from that training session. Probably for more than just walking the dogs and making them heel. Glad that you have found something that you enjoy.

Busy morning at the Hospice Care center today. A few deaths and lots of family sharing.

Spaghetti Dinner at the Firehouse tonight.

Loretta, glad you are not getting weather that messes up plans. Are all the rooms at the hospice single rooms? Just wondering.......been thinking of when my husband was just at the end of a long Hall, in one part of the hospital, no signs saying it was hospice.

Susan, how sweet for Ella to meet Levi again to reassure him, after a trip like that. How far is he from where they live? . Your winter won’t let go, either!

Michele, I’m wondering if you went on the hike this morning? The training sounds interesting and useful.

Babette, how are you faring today, is the itch back and you needed the bleach treatment again?

Ginny, hope the hospital stint was smooth today . And your guests are having fun.

Anne, are you about done preparing for the trip? I hear you on the allergies, I have tissue boxes in all the rooms in the house, more than one in some rooms, because all three of us have sneezes. These windy days makes it worse.

Saw my first hummingbird, female, at the office feeder.

Good day everyone.

Susan, scroll down to Golden Years, I don’t know why they think age 50 is Golden already? But Golden Years is in the “Challenges” section. Then you just tap on the thread. I’m assuming you can see the whole forum board?

Susan, I see your name as a member, but I think you may not have finished setting your info. Perhaps that's the reason. I may be wrong, of course.

Hi again,

Yes, we did go on the hike this morning. I wore lots of layers, a hood, scarf, and gloves (lol). It was very windy and temps were in the 50s. We survived just fine and completed the 5K without any problem. Eventually, I hope to try the 10K route, but don't feel ready yet.

BBT,
Michele
