Sorry I was a little MIA. Found out on the 4th that a dear friend had passed away. We spent yesterday on a road trip to the memorial service out of state. We will miss him so very much, he was a big part of our lives for 30+ years (DH and I each knew him before we'd even met each other).

Happy my deepest sympathy for the loss of your friend. T25 is no joke there are two levels did a cardio workout on easier level. It's not easy that's for sure. You do a different one each day I will keep you posted.

8 Miles of Walking in the Neighborhood today and then home to the AC for an hour with the Heavy Bag and 12 Sit Ups.

The Heat here today is so oppressive!!! That 8 Miles feels like 20!!!

Thank you enemy and puppy both for your condolences. It was a sad week, for sure here. Makes me realize just how blessed I am to be alive and healthy and have a healthy spouse.

7/9/2017 - 3.1 mile Thunder Run race (16.13 min/mile), partially ran/partially race walked. Finished in 50.00 minutes. Did an additional 1.5 mile walk (race prep).

I'm so stinking mad Puppy One of the ladies in my neighborhood asked me yesterday if I would fill a void in their weekly Card game today. Seems one of the players was under the weather and it was to short of a notice to get anyone. I agreed, It was one of the worst 2 hours of my life. It seems one of the players is doing Keto and does not believe in doing any exercise beyond her daily activities...which is fine if that is her feeling. I didn't feel the need to comment. When the host who invited me started talking about my exercise program(she sees me walking everyday and we chat now and then) This woman got all wound up and proceeded to tell me how wrong I was for doing it. Oh, she say's your just wasting your time and hurting your own progress she said(never met the women before...she does not know me from Adams House Cat) Your putting undue stress on your whole body and It will defiantly hurt your weight loss efforts. This went on for about 45 minutes. I sitting there gritting my teeth. The host looked embarrassed and I was highly annoyed but I kept my cool and casually looked up at her and said, I don't know where you got your information from Dear but I won't be drinking any of your Kool-Ade today, you see I've lost 100 pounds in less than 6 months through Diet and Exercise, so you see Exercise has not Hurt me or Hurt my weight loss progress and as for Waisting my Time, My time is Mine to Waste. You should try Waisting yours with me perhaps it would speed up your progress. I know that was mean but she asked for it. Needless to say it was a very quite game after that... I apologized to the Host and apologized to me and I came home but Puppy it irks me when people insist you take what they say as the gospel Truth but what you say can't possibly be right

Now you understand how I feel on the main lobby board. People have insisted my exercising did not help me lose or maintain my weight. I've felt very unwelcome as have others. I try to stick up for people. People shouldn't feel stiffiled to talk about their own journey. I could care less if people don't want to exercise but don't insist i'm lying about the benefits I experience exercising! I hear ya Enemysugar it baffles me people feel they have the right to do that to people. Especially people they have never met in their life that's the real kicker...ive also been told how to use some of the time I devote to exercise apparently I'm not allowed to use my time the way I see fit.

I sure do know how you feel. To know how good something is for YOUR body and be made to feel bad about it or be called a fool and that you are wrong...Well it's very hard and it's disheartening. Thanks for listening to my rant. I've dug my heels in on this and I won't be swayed, Not giving up....

I need to recommit to exercising at least 5 days a week, and preferably daily. I feel better, I sleep better, I stick to my LC food plan better, and I lose weight better when I do exercise.

I live in hotter-than-hell Arizona, and it's summer, and I don't have a car so I'm pretty much limited to exercising inside my home. And I have weak arthritic knees, so I'm fairly limited to what exercises I can do. I've got my recumbent bike in my living room now, instead of outside, so there's that. I just ordered a bunch of books off Amazon and can read while I do the bike, so that's the plan - read and bike. It's way past my bedtime right now, so I'm starting tomorrow. So I'm writing this post to obligate myself mentally to get going with meeting my recommitment plan. Goodnight, exercisers!

I did 20 minutes this morning on my rec. bike. It's a start.

Hi Puppy Love. I'm in the East Valley and hope that in the future I'll be spending my summers in much much pleasanter climates. When it only cools down to 90 degrees at night, that just doesn't work for me. Sheesh.
