Low-Carb foods are not created equal
Enjoy- cream, butter, coconut oil, olive oil, fresh chicken, fish, beef, pork, bacon, sausage, cheese, LC veggies, berries/melon, dressings, stevia, chocolate (75% cocoa) and red wine
Avoid - Mayo, canola oil, too much protein, processed LC foods (tortillas, candy, shakes, bars) Splenda and other artificial sweeteners, corn products (xanthan gum, dextrose, maltodextrin)

Don't be scared I believe they are induction friendly, if you do Atkins... It is when you start to double and triple batch it that I would start too worry... because I wouldn't be able to stop eating them

Ooooo, I'm so glad this thread resurfaced! I wanted to make these awhile back, and coincidentally, I just bought cheddar popcorn seasoning at Target. Boo ya.

Cream of tartar is in the baking aisle with all the spices. It looks like 'dis:

Linda Sue, why could one not skip the step of using real cheese and just use the popcorn seasoning or dry powdered cheese? What do you think? tks, love your personal blog spot, great recipes

The cheese probably helps hold them together and gives them a little substance. Otherwise they're just egg whites, which are mostly air. You could make them like "meringues" but the texture might be a little different. Eggs are cheap enough so why not just try making them that way and see what happens?
