Joseph's Pitas Garlic Cheese Points

Joseph's Pitas Garlic Cheese Points

1 Joseph's Pita
1 tsp Extra-Virgin Olive Oil (you need to use a mister or spray)
1 tsp Garlic Powder (probably less than 1/2tsp but rounding up)
1 tablespoon Parmesan & Romano Cheese (green can. Plain parm is fine, too)

Preheat oven to 400f.
Carefully divide the pita so you have 2 circles, then cut (like a pizza) into triangles so you have 16 total.

Lay the triangles on a baking sheet and bake for 3-4 minutes until they just start to firm up.
Remove and spritz with olive oil and sprinkle on garlic powder and cheese as evenly as possible.
Return to the oven and cook another 3-4 minutes until they start to brown and are crisp.
Watch carefully, they go from "not quite" to "smoke alarm" in no time at all!

*The oil is just to make the cheese and garlic powder stick to them. You could probably mist very lightly with water instead. Deduct 40 calories from the total if you do.

**I did not add salt when I was thinking this recipe through, but DH said they could use a little salt, so you can give a light sprinkle of sea salt when you add the toppings, if you like.
