Down day today.

Its my father's birthday and we're going out to a German restaurant for dinner. The plan for dh and I is to not eat all day, then just share an entree at dinner. No wine, apps, bread, or dessert. Oh well, I could have it tomorrow if I want!

Hopefully, by sharing, I'll keep my calories to under 700. Its going to be a bit tougher day today.

Edited to add:

Talked to dh (after looking at the restaurant menu!). We're going to eat a "regular" dinner tonight, and then tomorrow for our up day just keep it a bit lighter. Yum! Schnitzel!!!

Edited to RETRACT:

We're making today an up day. Easier than jiggering everything else around. Yay!!!

L: grilled cheese sandwich, broccoli salad
D: Steak Schnitzel, Beer, dessert!

Ended up having a clementine this afternoon and one cup chicken stock.
For dinner I had hearts of romaine with 2oz of leftover chicken. I used walden farms creamy bacon dressing for zero calories. Not too bad!!
Do you ever wonder if something really tastes good or it's because you're hungry on a dd??

I think things really taste good when we're limiting our calories so much. I manage to eat a lot, though, for my 500 calories!

And, today I'm down 2# in my maintenance range to boot!

Our bodies know what they are doing when we have these appetite attacks and also periods of non-hunger, I'd say.

Anyway, this day could go several ways. One of my closest friends just moved back to the States and is coming over to visit in a while. I've only seen her a couple times in the last couple years. Not sure if we'll go out to eat for lunch or eat here.

I'm having black coffee at the moment.
Had a protein shake made with half whole milk, half almond milk.

For lunch, we went to a quaint little diner down the street. Had fried fish fillet, french fries, coleslaw (ate half). Went to the limit of my MUDDD DD calories.

This evening, the start of the FD, I made homemade pizza with a thick crust, lots of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, green olives. Ate that about 8 p.m. Then had 2 glasses wine.

Done for the day.

Went waaaaay over on my UD calories, by about 700, due to champagne and other unplanned events. But oh I had so much fun! Haven't been out past midnight in so long. My scale and I will not be the best of friends for days ahead, but it was worth it.
