My husband was put on a low carb diet friday for health reason. I have two young kids and i am having the worst time finding meals they will eat and that are on my budget. Help anyone i want to be successful and get him healthy

How about chicken fingers and steak fingers, Kids love those just don't put the breading on and fry them in Butter and EVOO give them a Dukes or SF Mayo Dip for them. A few Boneless Chicken Breasts and a Large piece of steak cut in strips. Same with Pork

Broccoli with Cheese Call them Little Trees with Cheese

Chicken Legs Roasted in the Oven with Lemon and Lime juice call it Sweet and Sour Chicken Legs

Salad with a great dressing they like

Cheese Cubes with toothpicks and Sausage Bites with a Dip

Scrambled Eggs with Cheese and Bacon

Make it fun, Kids love a story

Make a low carb lasagna (no pasta) with ground beef, sugar-free marinara sauce, chopped spinach, ricotta mixed with one egg, garlic and mozzarella cheese. Also turkey burgers and regular burgers with salad. Main dish salad like a grilled chicken Caesar might work as well. Breakfast for dinner (bacon and eggs) might work.

Here is the Eating within your low carb budget.. Several threads including a 3 ingredient recipes thread... It may help! Plus remember that it is always cheaper to buy in bulk!! I buy at Sam's big packages of hamburger and split it between 3-4 meals...

S: Wow...its rare to find a doctor who recommends a lowcarb diet..You have a winner there.

Really, it is very easy..Sometimes, it is best to keep it simple, too..Burgers with no bun
and veggies or salad..Grilled meats with veggies..

Some super pizza recipes on here, too.
