Thank you, leisha! Getting over a kidney infection right now but did manage to get 10'865 steps in as of now. Exercise really helps my stress level. Yesterday afternoon and all day today were good days at work and am thankful to the Lord for His help!

Today was another good day at work and Praise the Lord that I was able to complete an important project on time!

Today was WATP 3 miles and Callanetics. 10,253 steps

Good for you!!! and yes, praise the Lord!!

I don't see how you get so many steps every day! I guess if I weren't chained to a desk I would, too.

I've been getting my 5000 in and sleeping well. We're expecting yet another arctic blast next week and we're just not equipped for that down here! More snow is predicted even!!

I keep thinking....if it will just ever get pretty outside I'm going to walk, and work in my flower beds, etc. etc. Or I could do a WATP like you, in my comfortable house!!

Leisha, it's cold here again in NC so getting up at 4:30 to exercise has been tough. I head to work after doing the 3 mile WATP and I'm up and down from my desk a lot because I'm a supervisor. The 3 mile is about 5600 steps in 45 minutes and get another 500 or so the rest of the day. I can't wait for spring to come back as well as daylight savings time.

Today at 7:16 I'm at 11,271 steps and about to fall asleep in the recliner! ��

As I've gotten older and more stress, I just can't sleep anymore. If I fall asleep quickly something is working in my subconscious that jolts me awake in fear. Lots going on at work, hence the occasional pacing I mentioned in another post. Exercise has helped overall but stressed about a deadline at work in a new position that I'm still learning, but it's par for the course in local government. Anyway, it's pretty much automatic for me to get up that early now and if I don't exercise, I'm mad at myself.

Today was partly cloudy and 62 but tomorrow will be in upper 40s, I think. 10,304 steps at 6:37 pm. Woke up at 3:04 this morybecause of dogs incessantly barking - turned out to be a raccoon climbing the outside of our screened porch! Also did a session of Callaneti. Tomorrow is my rest day.

Hope you and iakaren are doing well!

My parents have taken a downturn.....and that is my excuse for not excercising. It is not a valid excuse, but it sure took the "I am going to do this for me!!" out of the equation.

Gotta start doing better, but thought I would check in, to help me get motivated again.

Bronwyn......age messed with my sleep, too. I actually use my fitbit more to track my sleep than steps. I darkened and decluttered our bedroom, got the blue blocking glasses and the perfect pillow. All these things really helped. Now if I could just get that cat on my schedule! As soon as it is warm again I'm going to leave her outside with her nice house!

Karen, I'll be praying for your parents. I know you need to twke care of them, but don't forget to take care of you too!

Leisha, I'm curious about the blue blocking glaases - never heard od them. My husband is cold natured and I'm the opposite. His side of the bed includes heated mattress cover, heating oad, three blankets and comforter; my side is the sheet, comforter, and a table fan! I have pull down shades and blinds to keep out light and also bought a My Pillow. Some nights are just better than others. Banged my little toe on Sunday so it's swollen and black/blue. Haven't exercised in a couple days but going to try tomorrow.

The cold room and fan are a part of my sleep set up, too! The blue blocking glasses are supposed to keep "screen time" from not turning off your melatonin production so you can read or use your electronics before bed without it disrupting sleep. Or they suggest turning all electronics an hour before bed. I found staying off of twitter and my political rants helped a lot too! I don't know anybody on twitter so I'm quite opinionated there! LOL My pastor did like one of my tweets yesterday so that made me put the brakes on a little!

Did some major "running" today, but it was family and legal issues. So most was driving in my truck, but got some "gotta do NOW" things done, and off my list.

I did do morning horse chores, so that is my only claim to fame today......

I'm holding steady between 5 and 6 thousand sets everyday and 6-8 hrs of sleep every night. That's in my goal range. Not very ambitious but so much better than what it could be if I didn't try at least a little!!

So sorry, Debbieleigh. I broke my toe two weeks ago and it's still swollen and bruised so walking or exercising can be painful. Hope you mend soon!

Sluggish again this week, no exercise today and ate alot, which also means self-loathing today. Praying I crawl out of bed in the morning and get down to business.

Poor girls! Makes me thankful that I don't have an injury and I should be appreciating that fact! Bless y'all's heart! (the triple contraction my California nieces make fun of)

It's a wet, soggy, gray day here. I won't be doing my mental health steps outside! I am helping with the Wednesday night youth dinner and program at church tonight so I'll probably make up the missing steps!

Still struggling with the toe but determined to exercise anyway. Yesterday was nearly 12,000 steps and today I'm at 10,909. Thanks for the concern and hope your thumb is doing better!

I've been thinking about you Karen, and continue to pray for you and your family. I'm trying not to spend all my time online so not posting as often. My weight has stayed pretty much the same for the last four months or so, but I look and feel tighter. Just wish my waistline was smaller!

Karen, when my sisters are here they take all of my me time and vacation time too, but I love having them with me. I hope everything is going well with your parents.

Bronwyn....you are so dedicated to have that many steps with a hurt toe!! I don't have half that and I'm ok!

Debbieleigh......I'm glad to hear that you are back!!!

I had over 8000 steps Friday, Sat and Sunday! And slept over 9 hours last night! If I could just keep that up!!

My favorite form of exercise is weights and cardio at the good ole' gym Not very exciting but I actually enjoy it once I get going. They have been taking my dues out every month for a long time while I sat around and ate chips and drank chocolate milk, lol.
I just started my LC TODAY, about 5 hours ago. I KNOW I am going to feel absolutely horrible for a few days because I have done this before. So, I am hoping to start to feel a little better on Monday or Tuesday and I will start the gym 5 days a week and log my workouts here. I am sooo soft and squishy. I really need some tone.

I'm still here! I've had a winter cold for the last two and a half weeks and haven't felt like doing one thing extra that I didn't HAVE to do but thank God it was just a cold and not flu or pneumonia or some of the terrible stuff that's been going around here all winter! I think the freeze we had yesterday might be our last one! Hopefully spring like weather will make me feel better and feel like moving!

Spring like weather this time of the year in the south also brings serious weather of thunderstorms, wind and tornadoes though.

I haven't had much computer time lately but I'm still here! For now......I' m reading comments that say LCF is shutting down in June. Has anyone else seen that?
