hi, Kelly - when I eat out, even "on plan" I know my weight will be up - there is more sodium in restaurant meals that what I make at home, and possibly MSG or other additives. What's actually in a dish varies from what the "on line carb counts" say. And I agree with Pam - my weight fluctuates 2-5 pounds over the course of a day! I'd be so discouraged if I weighed at 8 or 9 pm.

Casey - thanks for your input! I am amazed at how different each “restart” has been for me. I have done some reading too and it sounds like now that I’m in “week 3”, my body is starting to gain back some of that water weight I lost initially, which could mask the actual fat loss. I know I’ll get there but it’s tough!!

Kelly - I know this is tough. I wish the weight would just dump but for me that never happens. It's a struggle. I know you can do this. You have always been a big inspiration to me.


Ok having the worst cravings for my wine. Yesterday and today. I am about to make coffee and hope that helps. I am doing the strict 72' so I can't even have a fat bomb yet or cheesecake to help But made it 6 days and keeping going.

I have had an awful time losing weight the last few years

Kelly, I weigh in the morning, for awhile I weighed each morning and got discouraged with the up and down
but
Im back to weighing each day now to keep myself on track
was 145.9 now down to 141.9
feel good about that progress

Hey ladies! Sorry for not posting much lately. My head hasn’t been where it should be. I’ve been in more of a maintenance mode and I need to get back where I was before the holidays and get my focus back. I’ve been reading everyone’s posts and you guys continue to inspire me with your success and your perseverance despite inevitable stalls. I am hoping to get back on my weight loss journey starting today and end the month with a loss.

Today I am using the ham bone from Christmas to make a big pot of pinto beans. I also added some shredded pork. The smell of the onions, spices, pork, ham, etc. is making my house smell amazing. I’m going to have a low calorie day today with a few cups of coffee with HWC (even measuring my cream, which I never do!) and one small bowl of my beans.

Hey Everybody,

I'm just hanging in there, still recovering from whatever caused the jump on the scale yesterday. I can tell I'm retaining water because my rings are tight. Strange.

Anyway, I have a friend coming over today who is also keto, so we'll snack on cheese and I may make the keto Jalapeno Popper soup recipe I love so much so she can try it. And maybe we'll have a glass of champagne!

Hello all

Today I weighed in at 76.1 so I’m happy with that. I’m getting excited to pass that 76 mark so the scales say 75..... and it will come. I’m still trialling what works for me in terms of protein and fat ratios. Low low carb is easier for me as there’s no calculations involved so my main carbs are from my almond milk (30ml per day) and my SF hot chocolate, made with only boiling water but a nice evening drink before bed.
