Sandy it must seem pretty weird knowing you don't have a regular home. Yet.
I hope you all enjoy yourselves this year as much as last year. You'll go get your dad sometimes, right? Hope he's still doing well.

Carolyn I am hoping for a quick recovery for you. And check for those ticks!

Happy Independence Day!

You, too!!

I think the gabpentin has kicked in. I asked the pharmacist. Walgreens couldn't get my eye drops until the end of July, but the downtown pharmacy could get the generic tomorrow. So glad the shingle isn't bothering my eyes!!! good grief

Heavy cream was on sale, so I'm making ice cream. Well, it had a few days left on the expiration so it was 1.50 a pint.

Ordered the photos from Walgreens. I had never done that before. Very fun.

Have a super time.

Oh happy to hear the Gaba is kicking in. Both DH and DD are on that, for one reason or another.

Man I wish I was eating that ice cream. So happy if you are feeling better already!

Really? I know gaba is for seizures/fibro...so they have had no problems?

I'm up to 300 3 times a day.

Aaaaah! Love your new profile pic!!

I think it's for nerve-related pain for my fam. Would make sense if that's what it does.
No, neither has problems with it. DH only takes 100mg 3x/day. DD takes more, but I don't know how much more.

The 100 x 3 is not a lot...nerve pain from diabetes, I guess for your sweet dh

Connie made it through eye surgery fine. She is very sleepy. Glad her daughter is there. She needs support. She hasn't filled out the Medicaid stuff yet. She is a bad procrastinator.

Hi!

Pain is controlled with my meds!! Yeah! Now, put some cornstarch and water on the shingle in hopes that will heal it up.

Watched a great movie on Netflix... Is Genesis History? Great geology stuff.

Dh is heading to the farm. I need to get my eye drops. I might switch pharmacies as Walgreens isn't that whoopy on getting wierd stuff in.

Dianne's mom died. I think I can make it to the funeral on Saturday with enough painkillers and Gary will drive.

Kids liked the Durango/Silverton train. They did it both ways. My brotherinlaw took the bus back which was faster. Sarah got a little tired Brett said.

Sarah's probably exhausted! I'm glad they're having a good time on their honeymoon.

Do you think the anti viral might also be helping? I'm concerned for how long Sandy's pain lasted, hoping yours won't last as long. Take care.

Sorry to hear Dianne's mother died.

I am sure she is exhausted. Hope they catch up on their sleep.

I went to my Friday meeting and did okay. Working back into civilization slowly.

The anti-viral is helping I'm sure. The gabpentin does take the pain away. I think the pain is diminishing. I only had one shingle about an inch long, so maybe that makes a difference.

Have fun at the lake!!!!!!
