I ate too much yesterday, but still lost just a skoshe. I overshot my 1500 Calorie target by about 600.

BARELY made my 10# goal for the month!!

This month dropped me below a .5 Pound-per-day average for 183 days. (4.76)

I'll take it though.

Some of you may recall, once I "fasted" for 6 months straight, with only around a quart of raw, unpasturized, REAL milk most days. I still love Real Milk. It is nearly a perfect food for me, nothing like the FrankenMilk you buy at the store, but I digress......

Some days during that Raw Milk Only Fast, occasionally I only had water, and once in a while a small can of... um... let's call it Vee-Eight. (Let's see if that gets past the Forum Stazi.) During that time period, I only lost 85 pounds..... SOOOO...... for me anyhow..... Low Carbing has been marginally more successful for a 6 month period.


Jan lost... 20.7
Feb lost... 14.4
Mar lost... 13.4
Apr lost.....13.9
May lost....14.5
Jun lost.... 10.3
Total........ 87.2

<EDIT: I guess I really should weigh in tomorrow. I didn't think about that until I posted and went back and saw the post before mine from Terri. (well.....what little is LEFT OF TERRI!!!! Ha!!!)

If I like how I weigh in tomorrow, I'll adjust my JUNE total. If not, I'm just gonna cheat and massage my numbers. I learnt that technique from the liars in the federal gubmint.>

Terri....That's one of the many things I like about you. You might give in, but you don't give up!! I won't either.

Stan....Dark chicken meat calls my name too. Leftovers ARE dangerous. My loss for the month isn't as good as yours (8.2) BUT you are a guy and we know guys lose faster....or at least that's what "they" say.

Ang....Thanks.....What grade do you teach? I don't know how teachers do it....but I'm glad they do.

Tami....Congrats for getting right back on plan. That really makes a difference.

Holly....WOW...100 lbs. You are SO close.....Good job. See ya on Wednesday...enjoy your time at your lake house.

JUDY 8.2 pounds is terrific! And yes, men generally do have an easier time of it, which makes Holly even more amazing.

Maybe more of us can step up in July!

And a quick story, a woman customer (and personal friend of The Queen) came in the store Wednesday. And whilst I was prancing all about in the restricted area (see, I'm the only Rooster In THIS Henhouse too, so my presence is often scorned) I discovered I was the subject of a conversation about weight loss. Lo and behold, that gal ALSO had lost 100 pounds in 10 months herself, so I mentioned our Holly. Not by name, mind you.... (I'd prolly just confuse it with Terri anyhow) but from this point forward, Holly's story will be in every weight loss/bariatric surgery conversation I'm likely to have, ever.

Well I didn't make my June goal. Sigh...I'm not even sure what it was. I don't remember what I set it as. I did my indoor interval run this morning and now it's time to clean house . Then I will be in my craftroom recording another card making tutorial for my youtube channel. I also have to soak/bathe a chicken.

I didn't make my goal of 265 but that's ok. The scale is moving in the right direction.

A bit more water weight gone

My sister is eating low carb and supplementing with some sort of keto drink. She said if she gets off track it helps her get back on. I'm not sure of the name. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Sixth Grade math Judy...and I love it! I used to just like it because it was stressful. I was teaching in a low-income school where kids just didn't want to learn. Where I am now, most kids want to learn and I am encouraged to do some unique and fun teaching. I love every day (well mostly). Every teacher SHOULD teach in a low-income school where the kids are tough and you build a lot of character. I did it...for 12 years and I'm glad I did. I'm just glad these last 8 years or so til retirement will be less stressful. I've been in private and public and taught every grade-level 1st through 7th.

Next month I'll only be around for 3 weeks. DH and I are taking a LONG vacation out west! We will travel to fun places as we head to California to see our son graduate boot camp.

Yep. It says it will put your right into ketosis. But ... it's not true. Eat under 20 net carbs and you'll be in ketosis .... not because you drink something with ketones.

YMMV.
