carbquick cheese biscuits/red lobster fakers

followed the recipe on the back of box plus upsized to 1 full cup of cheese plus a little hidden valley dry ranch dressing. i add the hidden valley to lots of my carb quick ideas. bon appetit!!!

Here is last night's dinner.

Yesterday I had my regular stuff

B: 2 sausage patties with cheese
L: Leftover chicken
D: Stuffed burger with green beans
Dessert: Coffee with HWC and sf choc syrup

the real kicker is the hidden valley dry powder pack. carb quick has a odd taste but the hidden valley does a good job of hiding it. more pix soon!!by the way mona, on your restarts did it take longer to get back in to it?it took my almost 3 full weeks on my 1st restart to get into a good routine and seems like its getting better. no more re-starts and all will be ok.(i hope i can hold)

Thanks for the link to your site, The Missy - those coconut oil peanut butter cups are delish!!! I didn't use the "cups" - just layered the bark, then pnut butter, then bark and YUM! I can't wait to try some of your other recipes!

Ahh that sounds like a good tip. I tried Carbquick in several different recipies and I don't like the taste. You are right there is *something* in there that tastes weird.

It doesn't take me any longer to get back into the swing of things with all of my restarts. I get into ketosis in just 2 or 3 days and start losing weight fine. I just keep blowing it by caving in at every event and holiday.

I make the hamburger patties and then put the cheese and bacon on top of one. I get another patty and put on top and close the sides around the stuffing. Then I grill away.

I change up my husband's. He likes blue cheese so I stuff his with blue cheese and bacon.

I got a very simple image resizer from the Microsoft website. It's so easy to use, you just right click on the picture and it adds the option to resize along with all the other commands, such as copy, paste, etc.

Last night's dinner was steak and "potatoes" (yes, it is cauliflower). I also posted some scotch eggs. They have become my husband's breakfast. I don't like eggs so I'm not eating them. He says they are very filling so he enjoys them. By the way, the steak is huge. It is a delicious bone-in ribeye that I bought on sale when Winn Dixie had them for $3.99 a pound. I actually ate the leftovers for breakfast.

i hear ya!!!low carb is the only way to fly!!i get laughed at, mocked, sneered and talked about something that is bad for ya. well, i'm losing weight and i'm happy as a clam!!sure i preach about it but they won't listen. peeps that are low carb are in a special club to me. they realize that the junk that's out is really bad and it's time to take a stand. i wish i would have seen the light earlier in life...

It amazes me how people freak out if you say you are on a low carb diet. I have finally just gotten to the point that I say I'm diabetic so I stay away from starches. People kind of get quiet then.

Great job on your weight loss. Keep up the good work.

No pics today. I forgot to take pics last night, I was too hungry. We had a crock pot pork roast and I shredded it and put on some lc barbque sauce (lc ketchup mixed with mustard). We had some butter sauteed green beans on the side.

Robin, I liked plain shiritake noodles (miracle noodle) ONLY with asian dishes.... for pasta like dishes like shrimp scampi I like the tofu shiritake noodles (house brand).. to me, there is a big enough difference that one makes me gag and the other is decent.

Thanks, I found some tofu noodles at my health food store where I get my different flours. I think there might have been one net carb in them so I guess I'll stick with them. Most of the time I just put my "spaghetti sauce" over zucchini.

IMO zucchini and spaghetti squash are way more delish as a sub in pasta recipes.
