That sounds good.

There is a sticky up at the top of the forum for carbquick recipes if you are interested. I think its kind of old, but most of the recipes seem to be pretty good.

I found this recipe on Pinterest too...
Low Carb Pizza

1 packet of active dry yeast (7 grams)
3/4 cup of warm water
1 tsp of sugar (necessary for yeast)
2 1/2 cups of Carbquik
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Olive Oil
1/2 cup of pizza sauce
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Pepperoni or other toppings

Soften yeast in water and sugar, let sit for a few minutes. Add the mix, garlic powder, and baking soda. Knead for two minutes. Roll into a 16″ circle with a rolling pin (using a little Carbquik to keep it from sticking). Put on a 16″ greased pizza pan and fold up the edges. Brush with olive oil and let it rise a little for 45 minutes. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Add pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut and enjoy!

I made one tonight and ate half and froze half, it is delicious

I found this under Lindas Low Carb Recipes...

CARBQUIK CHEDDAR BAY BISCUITS
2 cups Carbquik
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup cold butter, cut in small pieces
2 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup water

Toss the Carbquik with the garlic powder. Cut in the cold butter with a pastry blender until it looks like coarse meal. Add the cheese. Very briefly and gently stir in the liquid just until the dough comes together. Do not overwork the dough. Drop by large mounded spoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 450║ 10-12 minutes until golden brown.

These are best reheated in the oven or a toaster oven. I reheated mine in the toaster oven at about 300║ for 4-5 minutes.

Makes 12 biscuits
Can be frozen

Cute, Brenda, with the piece of sausage in each space . I consider 1/4 of those waffles a serving, do you have the whole waffle as a serving?

Can you believe I still have not tried the carbquick!?

Is that a 1/4 cup of pumpkin in the waffle recipe?

Thanks, Brenda. I'll give your recipe a try soon, I much prefer waffles to pancakes.

Large or Small Carbquick pizza crust (depending on how thin you roll out your dough)

3/4 cup carbquik
2 TBSP & 2 tsp. water

Mix together and roll out to whatever thickness you prefer and add toppings and bake for 15 minutes at 400 degrees

I love to make this a Taco Pizza by topping with taco meat and mozzarella and after its done cooking add lettuce and then dip each bite in Sour Cream

Just a quick tip on carbquick recipes. If you add a tablespoon of whey protein isolate to each recipe, it makes the resulting baked goods firmer and less crumbly.

Brenda, made the pumpkin waffle yesterday, and gotta say, it was awesome! I added in about 1/8 tsp cinnamon and a liberal dash of ginger. Kinda like eating crispy/soft pumpkin bread.

I use isopure zero carb unflavored whey protein isolate...get it from netrition.

We make waffles like this all the time. My 4h kids dubbed them "muffles" because they taste like a muffin cooked in a waffle iron. Try spreading them with a little cream cheese with a little sweetener and a little vanilla mixed in and put them together like little sandwiches. Chocolate chips and pecans make Toll House muffles, cocoa powder makes chocolate, and banana extract and walnuts makes banana nut.
