Tony that chicken sounds hot but good! Sarah has good taste! Think DH is really starting to wobble.

Sara, so glad your son is coming home. Hope he never has to go back!

Chris a real office - fantastic!!

Artemis, down 1.8 pounds is a great start!

Hi all!

Got up late, on purpose, but still clocked in at the usual time. Best part of this job, as long as I get my 40 hours in, they really don't care what your hours are. Of course as long as the clients are taken care of, which they are. My usual time is 7:45-4-ish and then leave early on Friday's, which are boring for me anyway. And today is my Friday, kids have dentist appointments tomorrow and Friday the 13th sounded like a good day to take off too! And I scheduled a massage for then

Only coffee so far today, but the tummy is about to scream for food, so Brazil nuts will be the cure. Ham and cheese sammich for lunch, steak and asparagus for dinner.

Lost another 1.6 yesterday for a grand total of 3.4 for the two days! Here's hoping I can keep up the momentum.

Woah, I slept til 9:30! Of course the mutt woke me up at midnight and I was letting him in and out for 2 hours. He was gassy and I assume poo'd every time, I wasn't going out. He seems fine now, no clue why he was like that.

No plan today except take the kids to the dentist. And make dinner, pork chops, but I forget what kind, I bought a pack of dry ranch but can't remember what else went in it. I'd better find the recipe, I'm pretty sure it went in the crock pot!!

Found! Chops, dry ranch, can of cream of chicken, some water. 4-6 hours on low. It sounds good, I'll have leftover asparagus with mine, the herd will have mashed taters and green beans. I'm not sharing the asparagus

Lunch will be steak. I think I'm living off of meat only until Monday, I've got to break this stall somehow. Nine or 10 weeks now, I've lost count, I'm not happy! It might help if I'd exercise, that just ain't gonna happen!!

FF, no I don't get hungry doing IF. I have always tended to naturally want to eat more later in the day, so with IF, I skip breakfast and lunch and eat a snack at around 2:00 then eat my main meal between 5:30 and 7:00 so I'm getting all of my food within a 5 hour window. When I eat 3 meals a day, if I eat breakfast I'm almost always hungry by lunch time. If I skip breakfast I don't get hungry until around 1:00 and at that point I only have an hour to go before I can eat my snack, so it's not hard for me to wait. I do drink coffee in the morning though and in general, consume a lot of water to keep my stomach full.

Down another 0.6 lbs this morning for a total of 4 lbs since Monday morning. I have been varying my carb count a bit each day so as to hopefully not plateau, but I know it's coming!

Down another pound this morning. This is all fluid I know, but enjoying it while it lasts! I've eaten outside my window today so I don't expect to lose anything in the morning. Just one of those days!

I was right. I was up 0.2 lbs this morning. I'm surprised that it wasn't more. Went to walk this morning and got 4.5 miles in but it was tough walking that far on an empty stomach. Plus it was hot! I thought this was October!?

It almost feels like tornado weather out today. Give it a few hours, weather man said it will drop 15-20 degrees.

I found out this morning the best time to shop Wal-Mart is 7am, 3 cars in the parking lot! Why did I go that freaking early? Out of toilet paper

Bacon sammich for breakfast, the rest of the day will be the hamburger and sauer kraut soup. Trust me, it's better than it sounds!! And I added Italian sausage to it, also has spices, chopped onion, can of Rotel, chicken and beef broth. My big pot broke so I stuck it in the crock pot instead. This is the first time making it and the only change would be double the kraut next time. 20 carbs in the whole pot, plus a blob of sour cream when I chuck it in a bowl.

We had keilbasa and kraut the other night. A different brand of kraut which I liked. Not quite as sour and a very fine chopped cabbage.

I would like a hearty soup recipe. Is the rotel the regular or hot Chris?

DH woke up sick and wanted the heat bumped up to 75. Yikes, glad I was out of the house all morning. When I got home he wanted the ac on. He says he ate too much broccoli last night. I told him that would not make him sick. I feel pretty sure by tomorrow he will ditch the low carb.

Had breakfast with my sister in law from Georgia and her brother at the country club today. She is up for her dad's cataract surgery in the morning. Her brother had a serious stroke a couple of years ago. This is the first time I had seen him since then. He is doing pretty well. Not much talking as it is a struggle but he laughed as we chatted. My sil has him going to the gym now and got a ride for him. Also she is working on some other rehab that would include handicap skiing. She just has to find him a ride for that too.

Foliage is getting very pretty, late this year.

Technically it said a can of diced tomatoes but I had medium heat Rotel in the cabinet. I hope that link works.

hey guys...happy to see everyone on track...it was a crazy week...in addition to mediations and a Board meeting, we sponsored a whole day of workshops on friday and i was one of the presenters for the morning "ethics" course...prepping took a LOT of time, but it all turned out great so it was worth it...

the babies spent last night here...we had so much fun!...outside most of the time as it was an awesome fall weekend...today the girls had so much fun making a scarecrow...we named her Amania, a combination of Amadora and Kalaia, who they call Nia...haha...she's sitting in a chair at the end of our driveway right now...

my second son was here all afternoon and evening as well, so his mom could help him with his taxes...he's getting a couple thousand dollar refund, so he was happy...

my oldest son and i have watched every yankee game of the postseason together which has been nice...he's been here for 5 games, and i've been to his place for 3...

artemis, congrats on the weight loss - whatever you are losing is making you healthier!...congrats on the new office...this has been a trend around here...

abs, happy you enjoyed bfast at the cc...is it the first time in awhile?...has it been the flamingo lately?...sorry about hubby - maybe he'll surprise you and hang in there...haha...it's hard to do this alone, especially when you have to prepare food for the other person...

chris, the steak and pork chop dish sounded yummy...not sure about the soup though...haha...i'm not a cabbage guy...

Sometimes I wonder if it's really worth taking off work. Took me 2 hours to catch up on emails alone.

Bacon, cheese, mayo on lc bread. Leftover soup later or maybe breakfast.

Chris I made the soup today and love it! The kitchen smells wonderful! I followed the recipe pretty closely. I used the diced tomatoes instead of rotel and my ground beef was not lean. I also added some kielbasa. I will freeze some for later.

Tony we have been going to the flamingo all the time. The cc was my sister in laws choice. Last Sunday we did a family brunch at my niece's house because baby Charlotte was visiting from Cleveland with her mom. We heard that between the 3 day holiday weekend and the foliage people had to wait an hour to get their food.

Love all the fun stuff you do with the little girls. They will remember that scarecrow and talk about it forever!

FF you sure have a lot of computer problems! Glad you headed the virus off at the pass!

i have a good anti-virus program.

all I need is to give it a couple of days. they do all the work. pork chops are on the way, each with a slice of mozzarella melted on top. it comes with soup, salad, and 2 veggies. of course, the 2nd veggie replaces the tater. I opted for vegetable soup, which I will save for tomorrow. I slept not at all at night, so I compensated during the day.ergo, this my 1st and only meal today. and now for my 1st moron joke of 2017. why did the moron have his legs amputated? he wanted to put an end to his sleepwalking! ff, i don't think i've heard your moron jokes before!...haha...you are a funny man...

abs, is it peak foliage over there?...i'd say it's close to peak here...i stay off the highway on the weekends with all the leaf-peepers clogging things up...lol...but they bring $ into the state, so all's good...i bet the brunch was fun last week...i know how much you enjoy that little girl :-)

my second son was working in new york today, but the other 4 kids and the babies were here to watch the game...lots of fun...i grilled salmon and asparagus and it was delicious!...sarah talked emily into going jogging with her - it is just like when they were little and emmy would go along with whatever sarah wanted...haha...

tomorrow, we will go to chris' house in portsmouth to watch the game...like today, it will start at 5 so the babies will probably join us...when she left tonight, ama said "i hope i see you tomorrow, grandpa"...i said "you will!"...haha...

I'm glad you liked the soup Abigale, and I'm glad my kids didn't want it, more for me!

I ate way too much yesterday! But on the plus side, I still had only about 25 carbs. It was the breadsticks that did me in. Only eggs, mozz, and cream cheese, but when you eat them all, it adds up. Today's plan is coffee only until lunch, then stay as low as possible. We'll see.

Am loving my new office, I'll love it more when I get a key to the door. I waited 20 minutes yesterday morning to get in it. It has a supervisors lock on it now and since technically I'm not a supervisor, I can't have a key for it, they have to get maintenance to change the lock. I stuck a note on the door for the cleaning crew not to lock it.

And the down side of having an actual office instead of a cubicle, when you have a smelly client for over an hour. I know sometimes it can't be helped, but by the time she left, my stomach was upset.

Tuna salad and bunless burger is the plan.

Down almost 9 lbs now since the 9th. I wasn't expecting it to come off so quickly, but I chalk some of it up to tummy issues. The past two days especially I have not eaten much at all, so my calories were probably too low. It caught up to me this morning around 10 am when I started feeling light-headed so I ate a leftover yogurt parfait from our morning meeting. Totally out of window, but oh well. There will be days like that!

Glad you are enjoying your office Chris! Having an office is wonderful but for me, I do struggle around lunch time because my office is a few feet away from our kitchen area. So I have to endure the smell of food being nuked in the microwave which can be both a good and bad thing depending on what it is!

Sort of has windows, they look out into the other room. The main door to my office has a window and there's a blind if I need privacy, and it just looks out to the huge "bull pen" area where there are lots of cubicles. The view from my desk below, theres a door to the right too. The locks were changed yesterday YEAH!!

I broke down and bought clothes, I've had a lot of baggy comments lately. Gotta brag for a moment, July of '16 I was a 5X in clothes, today I'm a 1X. The place I usually get clothes runs big so at Wal-Mart I'm a 2X and before they didn't have big enough to fit me!!

Today's plan is muffins, tuna salad, not sure for dinner yet.

Gibbs, dropping sizes is more telling than the scale.

I,, too, was once 5x. I am about 2x now, and 1x if I want to cut off my blood circulation. nothing is so satisfying as putting on my pants, and knowing I can take a smaller size. I finally totalled my navy blue terry cloth robe. I got about 10 years use out of it. I will get another within the next 30 days or so. still too warm in the kitchen. eventually, it will cool down in here. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

chris, i'm guessing i'm not the first person to describe you as unique!...hahaha

ff, i bet that terry cloth robe would make a nice bunch of rags...

we have the babies tonight as emmy and sal went out with his family for his aunt's bday...they picked up my baby grandson, but left the girls who were already in bed...good day!
