Hoping you're all having a good day. I am starting to lose the excitement here... nothing against anyone, I like all of you and enjoy interacting with you here...I am just wondering if its worth it for me to stop and say the same boring stuff day after day...nothing really earthshattering is happening!

Sounds like you have some thinking to do. You gotta have a plan that is workable for life. Stillmans is definitely not for the rest of anyone's life, just a hopefully quicker means to an end. Whatever you decide is great. Even if at some point I decide to do something else for a while, I know I will be back to stillmans again during the losing part of this journey. Probably use stillmans for little tuneups too during maintenance.

DH and I are planning my night off stillmans at the end of the month. I'm making it to that but then I need a break for a day. Then I get back on. It's a sanity break. What's today? Like the 17th? Ooh it's the 18th so I have like what 12 days till end of month? I'm on a countdown, seriously. . DH talking dinner out and some wine to share at home. We will plan it so we don't have to babysit the next day. Might change that wine to vodka crystal lights just to avoid sugar. I probably will. And there's no way I will gluten myself. It will be an indulgent but lowcarb meal. And I am going to make sure all my food is already cooked and ready to go for the next day. No excuses blowing the whole next day!! Already everyone have a great night!

Well I'm still here..haha.. yesterday I had to fast all day due to having labs at my physical, dinner was eggs and a couple of slices of lean ham. Oh and also a few shrimp left over from the weekend, weird combo i know, lol. I weighed in at 125.4 at the doctor and that was in clothes - also a good weight for a Monday- in the past I'd be up 3-4 lbs after the weekend so I was happy about that. Tom is due at the end of the week so we will see how he crashes the party!

Today I think I'll eat eggs again- they're easy and I have a bunch ready. That's all I've got!

Yay dropped another one. Seriously hoping for 5 more before the end of the month. I know my muscles are holding a few with all this physical labor I've been doing. Think I will fill in the big plaster holes on the bedroom side of closet today. Didn't get any work done on closet like I wanted yesterday. The house got thrown a for a loop and DD's boyfriend is moving in temporarily, in the basement. Which isn't finished but I have no where else to put him. So me and him spent the afternoon in the basement cleaning up and moving stuff around.

We adore him he's a really neat guy. And polite, and clean, and funny, and a hard worker, and a go getter. He just needs a little help over a rough spot. But - and I'm putting this out in the universe for all to hear.... PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME ANY MORE PEOPLE, I AM OUT OF ROOM. AND PLEASE NO MORE ANIMALS EITHER.

All right you guys I'm gonna hit the coffee hard here and get some clothes on- worst part of the day having to get out of my Jammie's! And get my caboose ready to push this train today!

I'm back on plan... I did not enjoy my time off. The first day I had to work concessions and thought it would be a good idea to have nachos with chili. Nope. I was up all night with stomach issues... Yesterday I stayed off plan and now my stomach is all messed up.

I made a big crock pot of chicken over night but I think I will avoid food for the most part today.

Lesson learned.

I started feeling very bad and lightheaded. So I took the opportunity to have some general tsos shrimp. The local place makes it without breading the shrimp for me. I am run down. Just going to rest all day today. I'll check in tomorrow...

Pulled a higher fat day to help feel better. I really needed it. I have to watch closer and make sure I'm getting enough in. Can't get that rundown again. Going to make up some sausage patties for breakfasts to go with hard boiled eggs.

How are you guys doing? It's pretty quiet in here...

Hi Michelle! Yes it has been quiet. I'm glad the higher fat helped you. I was up a pound today but TOM is due so I'm not fretting too much. I'm going to keep it as clean as I can this weekend- no frankenfoods if I can help it!

Bratty? How ya feeling? Come check in and let us know. Making sure I'm getting the food in. Ugh chicken, but it's gone now. Got a big bag of shrimp to sauté up in a bit here. DH sick as a dog. Keeping Violet away from him. Got some soup and tea with honey down him. Got him all shut up in the bedroom. Gonna spray it with Lysol before I go to bed. This is one way to get some rest. I don't mind a lazy day though.

Is there a limit on how long someone should stay on Stillmans? I hear you all talking about needing higher fat days.

A lot of people have stayed on till they took off all their weight. Many months. I'm not a big meat eater, it's hard for me. I do throw in taco salads, don't feel it's cheating for me. It makes it doable. I don't like chicken so if I can hide it in a taco salad it's a win. I needed a couple higher fat days cause I was working so hard on the remodel and just plain wasn't eating enough. I think I would also feel better if I did it once a week. I'm thinking even an all egg day once a week might really help.

I think aleria did the diet for 9 months pretty much straight and lost 70 some lbs. amazing. She basically ate chicken and water for a very long stretch. Incredible. So, it can be done, although I know I couldn't do it more than a couple of weeks without a break.

I didn't lose for 10 days. Then finally, 1 lb, and 3 the next day! So, just my stubborn body. In retrospect, I've lost a good 15 lbs in the last month! Just going in spurts. So it's working!

DH's sickness got me bad. I had to take cough syrup a bunch of times already and tea with honey to control the coughing. Needless to say until I feel better I won't be stillmans. Judging by DH it's going to be a few days. I recover better than him but this is bad. I'll check in tomorrow.

Hi girls
I am ready to jump in tomorrow!

Finally got my biopsy result today. Benign but a condition that increases my chance of breast cancer in the future and will require another mammo and sonogram in 6 months. Oh well I will take the peace for now. Looking forward to knocking off a few pounds fast. Baby Kinsley is due any day now

Somewhat relieved, but do wish I could get a 100% clear bill of health and don't like going back in six months or having an increasing risk of bc. But for six months I can relax and look forward to grandaughter being born any day now!

Cooked a mess of chicken and hard boiled eggs, ready to get this bloat off

Glad your back bratty!

I think the whole house is on the mend. Crazy with the whole house sick, I kept everyone on lockdown. Whatever we had must have been highly contagious. The cough syrup, drops and tea with honey sent me into other sugar so today I am getting back off the sugar unless the cough gets bad again. I don't think I can do stillmans day after day. I think I'm going to need to break that up. I haven't figured out how or what but as I was feeling unwell before I got sick I need to avoid that. Might just be enough to throw in a all fat day? I don't know? I like super high fat days. I might rotate in a potato hack too. I gotta change it up. More salads too?

Glad you are doing better Michelle. I hear you on the fat being too low at times, it's a fine line for me. I just have to be careful and not use the feeling low days as an excuse to overindulge in fat and carbs!

The protein-sparing modified fast I'm doing is basically Still an, but 2 non-consecutive days you can do a high fat day. Sounds like that's what many of you are doing! I don't know if those 2 days are just to make compliance easier, or if they are supposed to confuse your body. I definitely need them, though!

Had to take cough syrup last night and cough drops. I couldn't stop without it, tea didn't work so I still have that in my system. Food was on point though. Clean eating all day but throwing in a salad tonight, might make it a taco salad. Yes 2 higher fat days like psmf might be just enough to get me through. I will check that out. Thanks!

I'm going to do a potato hack for a few day, get these sugar cravings under control from all that honey and cough syrup. Plus the water weight that came from that and being sick. Need a few days of something different. But I'm still going to be in here bugging you guys cause I just ya'll! Plus I'll be back to stills after I get tired of potatos, then maybe some super high fat days. I'm going to keep changing it up. Every week or so, keep the body guessing and rotating foods. And I need a veg day....

How is the hack going? I adore potatoes but the one day I tried it my blood sugar got wonky!

On to day 2, day one was great, I'm just 1lb above my lowest now. That sickness screwed me up I was cruising along fine. But back at it now. So hopefully those potatos take off the last lb today and on to new losses tomorrow. I like potato hacks. They are really easy for me. Not missing meat yet lol. But I am making mayo today and was thinking I want tuna
with my mayo so that may be what I have the day I come off potatoes. Ausually do eggs coming off, we will see when I can't take another potato....

How are you doing? And where is that Bratty? Girl how ya doing out there? Come tell us your okay....

Okay day 2 took me back to my lowest, yay! It's all downhill from here, at least until next Saturday and I cook a birthday dinner. Will stay with potatos today but might have some protein for dinner. Maybe eggs, think I need it.

Going to start sanding and staining the doors so they will be ready to be put in. Off to refill coffee and start my day...
