They are really good. I ordered a to go bunless burger from Braums and brought it home and ate it. Yummy. They are very tasty.

I am pretty sure mine came in today (UPS Notice), so if they did, it will be a boca burger for me tonight for dinner. I can't wait. I'll post after I try them, but I trust you ouizoid.

Smart Buns arrived in good shape. Great packaging!

We got our Smart Buns. I took a *cheeseburger that we get frozen with bun at
CostCo. Defrost, throw out their bun, heated our smart bun, added the cheese burger,
our sliced tomatoes, onions and lettuce, with "secret sauce" (mayo and sf catsup)
and voila almost instant gratification.

*Cheese burger from CostCo. is Angus beef."Pierre Signature's" Angus Cheeseburgers.
Love my new buns.

Glad to hear it doesn't raise your BG Quizoid. I can't wait to try a pulled pork sammie on one of these, but I have to wait till I get my order of Sukrin Gold. I can't believe I let myself run out!

Are these buns similar to the egg white oat flour recipe?

Oops, I meant oat fiber ouizoid.

I can't find the thread, but it was your recipe with the parm cheese, oat fiber and egg whites.

no i don't think so. These appear to have different ingredients on the packaging. They are also not dry like that recipe. They are the best bread sub I have ever found and I don't mind spending the money for them.

Thanks! I don't mind making the recipe especially since I have all the ingredients on hand, but will order the buns as well.

I'm curious to know if you ever tried Schmidt 647 bread? That's currently my go-to for low calorie/low carb bread and I'm wondering if these Smartbuns are even better.

I eat 647 bread. It's amazing and the calories are great, but about 12 or 13 carbs for two slices, which is a lot for some people doing keto (I do moderate carb so it's perfect for me)

I also eat low calorie/low-ish carb hamburger buns and these IMO are just as good. Even better because they're bigger and fewer carbs and 10 less calories.

I had a smart bun last night and it was good.
I especially like that they are individually wrapped.
Very convient for me and I don't think the price is bad at all in comparison to low carb bread company and these are so much better, soft just like real buns.

Now I'm thinking homemade egg mcmuffins...yum. Thanks again ouizoid.

yes Nigel--the soft texture makes these buns a real winner. They are also amazingly filling thanks to the protein and fiber. They just make the lowcarb lifestyle infinitely more pleasant.

They make fantastic grilled cheese, grilled ham and cheese, pesto and munster, etc
I toast them lightly then finish with the fillings on the foreman grill and they come out like normal grilled sandwiches

Pesto with muenster or mozzarella is really good

I did find that toasting them on "light" first made them have more of a chewy finished texture, which I like better

I love them as grilled cheese. My favorite is a combination of Colby Jack cheese slice and pimento cheese with jalapeño. Yum Yum! I also cut the bun in thirds and fry in a frying pan. Gives me 11/2 sandwiches. Dip it in homemade fresh tomato soup. Heaven.

We have carnival food in our downtown for 4 days. I brought my SmartBun and my favorite cheeseburger was delicious!

Great idea Barbo! I think I might use them with my LC cornbread for my stuffing at Thanksgiving.

Thanks Barbo! I also typically use a little regular bread in my cornbread dressing, so I will give this a try this Thanksgiving!

I received my order Friday and I don't want to be a negative Nellie here, but did anyone else notice an odor to these? I can't put my finger on it but my hubby noticed it too. Also, too sweet maybe??? I'm going to toast them and see if they loose that odor....just wondering

I had another one last night.

I did not notice any odor and I didn't notice the sweet taste that some have referred to.

Maybe I'm just used to the lower quality low carb pre-made bread stuffs. ?

They work good for me.

I like the stuffing idea, Barbo. I will have to make some of that for turkey day too.
