Super Easy Strawberry Cream Pie/Dessert

Made this yesterday and everyone went back for seconds...

8 oz. "1/3 less fat" philly cream cheese
1/3 c. granulated splenda
8 oz. lite cool whip
1 c. mashed strawberries (i used thawed frozen) with a little more splenda to sweeten.

Beat softened cream cheese and splenda until smooth. Beat in strawberries until mixture is pink and strawberries are in small chunks. Fold in Cool Whip. I put in a graham cracker crust for the rest of the family, just stuck mine in a dessert bowl, but could use any low carb crust recipe. Stick in freezer for an hour, then serve. If I had leftovers, I would keep in fridge, but freezes well too.

I am curious, is there a recipe reason you suggest the less fat cream cheese?

About 15 carbs for 1/8 of pie...I like the less fat cream cheese because I'm lazy, its much softer than regular, so when you use it in recipes, you don't have to worry about softening the cream cheese first...and its about 30 calories less per serving than regular.
