I have only made this once. I made the buns and i wasn't so sure about them at first. I baked them for way longer than said and honestly they turned out pretty good. I really like them. I think I will not try the bread.

I've made the almond version before and tried the coconut flour one yesterday. It didn't raise very much so it is heavier than the almond rolls. I won't make them using coconut flour again. The flavor is good, but....

vli1127, I just saw this Here is a bread recipe. I also have a roll recipe. Do You want it?
Lupin Rye Bread Yaz315 g Simply Egg Whites, beaten
110 g Lupin Flour
40 g Oat Fiber 500
35 g Progressive Organics Whey Protein Unflavored
1 tsp Magic Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Salt* - just a dash
10 g Nutritional Yeast Flake - optional
20 g Hemp Hearts - optional
1/4 cup + 2 tbsp Water
5 g Caraway Seeds - optional
1 tsp Onion Powder - optional
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar – optional
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a loaf tin lightly with coconut oil spray (or PAM) or line the tin with silicone paper, if not using a silicone mold. Add all the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and mix or whisk together until blended and the batter is smooth. The batter will be fairly thin but the whey and coconut flour will absorb a great deal of moisture during baking. Transfer to the prepared loaf tin and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until risen and golden and a skewer, inserted into the centre, comes out clean. Do not over bake this bread or the loaf will dry out.

I decided to post the roll recipe, because it is different-no lupin.
Oat Fibre Buns Yaz
3 tbsp. Oat Fiber 500
1/2 tbsp. Golden Flax Meal
53g Simply Egg Whites
10 g Whey Protein Concentrate, Unflavored or Pea Protein yet though.
3 + tbsp.. Water
1/2 tsp. Magic Baking Powder
1/2 tsp. Konjac Glucomannan Powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 tsp. splenda
Mix dry ingredients in a small bowl, add egg white and 3+ tbsp.. of water (enough to make a runny dough consistency). Put batter in 1 larger or 2 smaller microwave safe containers liberally sprayed with nonstick spray. Microwave for 1-2.5 minutes (the smaller ones need about 1 min 20 seconds in my microwave). Gently take the "bread" out of the container and toast to "dry" it out.

Want to give this a try since I have the ingredients already. Anyone still make this or is there a new improved bun recipe?

I have made the original Healthified Sub Rolls a bunch of times, and they've always turned out fine. I don't know if I'm just lucky, or a really great baker.

I weigh all my ingredients; I don't measure. I used to use Honeyville Almond Flour, but the last time I made these I used Bob's Red Mill superfine almond flour, and they came out just the same as ever. I'm using psyllium powder from the Vitamin Shoppe (I think it's their store brand?).

When it comes to the boiling water step, I boil it in my electric kettle, then weigh out 7 ounces on my kitchen scale. I use the dough hook attachments on my hand mixer to make the final dough.

I make them into little dinner rolls, using my muffin top pan. Roll a dough ball, then flatten it slightly. I bake mine about 45-50 min.

They don't have the same chew as real bread, but this recipe is the closest I've found to actual bread, IMO.
