Women's Size vs. Misses

Hello! At what point did any of you 5' 7"-ish ladies go from Women's sizes to Misses? What weight were you at? Just curious 'cause I know I have a long way to go!

I was around 190 when I was able to wear a Misses 18. The lowest I ever got, 185, I was able to fit into some Misses 16's.

For me, a Women's 16 was about a Misses 18. I had to lose a lot of weight before I started dropping sizes, though, because I am shaped like a beach ball. I know a lot of women who were about my weight and height (5'7") and were fitting into 12's and 14's, because their weight wasn't all in their gut, like me!

I am currently around 250 (gained it all back, dang it!), and I'm wearing a Women's 22 or 24, and a 3X in tops.

I stopped finding anything in Women's sizes around 200 pounds. I'm 5'10" so my guess is at 5'7 probably 190s. I unfortunately gained weight back so I'm back into women sizes.

I am 5'7 and hover around 200-210 and wear a 16 pants and XL top. I think I came out of women's (to 18 and XXL top) at about 225.

I'm 200 lbs right now and in size 16. At 190 I will be in a 14. I generally lose a size with every 10 lbs or so. I'm 5'8".

Same here. I'm at 178 now and wearing XL tops and Vanderbilt's stretchy size 14 Amanda jeans from Kohl's. I'd be in 12's if it wasn't for my fat gut.

Same here.....although since I've started working out, I could probably go down to a 12W or 14 misses....

I am quite a bit shorter than you at 5'4 and was able to squeeze my booty into a juniors size 15 jeans I've been saving for quite awhile now. I'm currently fluctuating between 201 and 199.

I'm jealous of your body type. I was a size 14 at 160 pounds and 5'5". Sigh.

Please remember the bone size plays a lot when it comes to Woamn's vs Misses size. I'd always thought I was normal bone size and struggled that I couldn't fit into Misses. I's gone by the measure your wrist with your hand size - you know is you fingers can reach around your wrist you're normal bone size. When I mentioned it to my massage therapist she siad look at the sizr of your hands! I;d alway joked it could play football without shoulder pads and that I had my Dad's hands.
Turns out I'm big boned according to my massafe therapist and my chiropractor!
It explains why I had always had trouble finding top with sleeves long enout even when I weighed 125#!

So Ladies consider your bone mass before you compare yourself wih others. Be proud of yourslves!

Thanks! Yes, I have a large frame, so I was just really looking for a ballpark figure on it. I am just so happy I was able to turn it around again and keep on it. I see some pretty tops in the misses section and am waiting to try on at least an XXL there...but I am patient.
