A Strangely Yummy Little Nosh

Do you have one that may be a bit weird, but becomes your fave go-to snack?

In need of something simple and salty, I came up with these slightly unattractive, but satisfying bites. You determine your serving size.

Pitted Greek Olives (Or any large, pitted Olive)
Cream Cheese (Plain or flavored)
Pepperoni Slices

Spread a bit of cream cheese on each pepperoni slice, and roll up tightly. Slit one side of a Greek Olive and wedge the Pepperoni roll inside the olive, seam side down. Repeat until you have as many as you need.

Slice of cucumber or a cheese cracker, schmear of cream cheese, a tinned smoked oyster. I love those things.

Not overly weird, but easy and satisfying - thin slice of salami wrapped around whatever kind of cheese cube or cheese stick is handy.

Hardboiled egg, cut in half, small dollop of mayo/squeeze of yellow mustard and good shake of Chipotle Tabasco on top. Kind of an ersatz deviled egg without all the work.

Smoked/Kippered herring (imported, purchased at Trader Joe's)

Place piece of kipper on cracker, then dab of any good mustard that you like.
lastly, a dab of jalape˝o cheese. Eat and make more!

Put some pepperoni in the microwave and cook it until it is crisp like a potato chip.

Cut up a lc tortilla into small pieces and fry them until crisp.

Cut cheese slices in quarters and microwave them until crisp.

Deep fry thin sliced zucchini slices until brown and caramelized.

Microwave or bake turkey bacon until very crisp to make turkey jerky. I sprinkle it with a little garlic powder before cooking.
