Is there a Soy-Free Mayo?

I need to avoid soy due to breast cancer. I never noticed that mayo has soy in it. Is there a soy-free one that is good and sugar free also? Thanks!

There are 2 made with avocado oil that you can purchase; Chosen Foods and Primal Kitchen. They are expensive and you could save money by making your own. The Chosen Foods one has a little organic honey, but that is still far superior to having soybean oil or canola oil. I have seen the Chosen Foods mayo at Costco and Harris Teeter.

Thank you. I am not a cook at all. Is there a simple recipe for making our own without soy?

Hain makes a safflower mayo that Whole Foods and health food stores carry, fair price and the closest to Hellman's (my favorite, but soy based) I've found yet.

There are actually quite a few non soy mayos, the problem is either high cost or weird flavor. I don't mind making my own but don't go through it fast enough. Store bought has a longer life.

Here's the method easiest:

I personally use 1 whole egg + 1 yolk, I add the salt, lemon juice and a squeeze of dijon mustard (like 1/2 teaspoon) before adding the oil, but otherwise this is the simplest method

I like the stick blender version the best. I don't eat a lot of mayo, but the best I ever made was when I used MCT oil. It had no "off" flavor, and was the perfect texture and taste.

I'm a lazy cook and found it to be much easier than I thought. I use Dottie's recipe. I make it in a wide mouth pint jar with an immersion blender. Every once in awhile, it doesn't emulsify and I have to "fix" it. You can google how to fix broken Mayo, but you basically blend an egg yolk with a little water and then slowly add in your broken mayo. I have never lost a whole jar of mayo. I'm frugal too.
