It says 36g carbs, 1g fiber, 0 sugar, o protein.

I think you mean mung bean noodles. They are very starchy hence the carb count.

You are right MUNG bean noodles. Ok, starchy like potatoe starchy? I'm assuming then they are not a good fix for LC?

Yes, starchy like potato starchy. They are also called cellophane noodles or chinese noodles. Made from mung beans, a variety of Chinese dried beans like pinto beans or kidney beans. But the noodles are even starchier than the beans, because they have very little fiber and basically no protein or fat. So 100% carbs.

WOE: Lost VLC/Now LC/Lower calorie through lower fat
Many years ago we were all eating bean thread because the carb counts were all wrong on the packaging (originating in Asia) and we thought they were LC but were not. I'm still not sure why that happened and I am still po'd about it. Talk about a stall! Sheesh.

The onesi buy have mung bean starch and potato starch, yes they are low carb and low calorie and have resistant starch. My friend at work ,s parents who are Asian recommended the correct brand to buy ..,.,.the dragon. And yes I saw the mung bean other brands and they were very unhealthy......there is a lot of junk noodles out there you have to do your home work. They certainly taste better than shirataki ones and give me non existent gas!!! I did my homework......

I buy these in Canada at our Co-Op type grocery stores and Stupid Stores...I know when I go to the Asian stores there are maybe 25 different kinds!!!
My DH is the fussiest Scot out and he loves them in my chicken soup, he hated the shirataki noodles....works for me especially with a Thai sauce and shredded vegetables....I will stick with what finally works for me. Hope you find something that works for you.
