I'm baaack! Angry tooth is all good now, but left ear still has eustachian tube problem, so hearing problem remains, but otherwise pretty well. Haven't been following my eating plan but I'm only up a couple of lbs, so I can't complain. Everyone here seems to be doing pretty well, way to go!

ff, come to the U.P. of Michigan! We already have a bit of snow. Kids here are used to getting Halloween costumes big enough to fit over their winter coats.

Hi all

I created a shrimp 'noodle' dish with Sea Tangles. Cream cheese, a little milk, chipotle cheese, butter, it was pretty good.

Forgot to take my daily meds this morning and I can tell cause now I feel bloated (the water pill).

I had a good meeting with my new boss, she doesn't see a need for a weekly meeting, just stop by her office whenever.

This colder weather, I'm not liking it, there's lots less of me than there was last year and I can tell it!

Tony, besides my supervisor and the lead lady I was the only nut that showed up as Princess Leia. Lol I thought this might happen. If I can figure out how to get the photo off my phone I will give you all a laugh!

TGIF! But I do miss the 4 day work week I did for years, but it was nights, Sunday through Wednesday.

Nothing is sounding good to pack for lunch, so I wont, I have plenty to choose from in my desk drawer. I'd rather stay in bed all day, but the day ends at 2pm unless something comes up.

Tony, I took a head band and hot glued yarn to it. I had to keep giving it a hair cut when it started to fall apart a little. Lol

it's November already!

TG is just a few weeks away. I decided in these last few hours, to do the wings for TG, PLUS my legendary TROLL slaw. in place of cranberry sauce, I will use a tablespoon of low carb jelly. I may also treat myself to Michelob ultra-2.6 gr carb per 12 oz serving. TG time, I watch 3 movies which I have watched almost every TG since I landed here. these are the ORIGINAL King Kong, Son of Kong, and Mighty Joe Young. the remakes are, in my opinion, betrayals and total disrespect of (and to) primates everywhere oh, and for dessert, I will make my legendary pumpkin mousse. btw, why hasn't anyone asked the obvious question-WHO is the Son of Kong's mom? I believe I have the answer, but this is not the forum for such a discussion. Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

It's been hectic lately, but still doing IF as much as possible. I'm up a couple of pounds but I think it's fluid. I'm trying to get back into my kickboxing and zumba workouts. They both burn a ton of calories but it's going to take me a looooong time to get back into the shape I was in. For now I'm doing videos but it's really no substitute for doing it live. However, the classes are expensive and not in my current budget. Plus, with videos I can pause to catch my breath and swear as necessary

haha, artemis...i am convinced that working out is a necessity for feeling good...we don't have to go crazy - we can start slow and do what we can do and increase little by little over time...

my eating has only been so-so this week, but i'm back at the gym, and that is keeping me somewhat on track...i have learned that as long as i don't give in completely and just blow up my woe and become sedentary, i can keep my weight from ballooning...i think we all have accomplished that with the help of these blitzes...we go up and down, but we have not let things get out of hand...

good workout today...once again, about ten minutes of stretching first, which is new to me...hoping it helps with my lack of flexibility...the rest of the exercise went smoothly and i am not in any pain at the moment...

abs, that was a clever way to do the buns!...

ff, are your wings frozen?...sounds like a fun holiday once again!

no babies for two weekends in a row... :-(

no, they are fresh.

however, I will put them in the freezer, and take them out to defrost in the fridge the Tues before TG. I am not going into the shoprite within 72 hours of
TG. that would be insanity. I will probably go a week before. I do not know why, but food is no longer my prime concern. I guess it is all part of change(getting older?). Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

Too hot of a shower this morning! Thought I was gonna pass out before I got dried off. That's what I get for not doing it before bed like usual.

Breakfast was already a low carb bagel with bacon and mayo. Lunch will be a leftover burger with cheese, bacon, onion. Dinner will most likely be a salad. Other than lots of coffee today, that's the plan.

The weekend went by too fast, like usual, even though I did absolutely nothing. I grocery shopped Friday and haven't been out of the house since. Works for me!

We had good storms yesterday, I love thunder! The county north had a nice sized tornado, not sure of all the damage yet.

Both Things made the honor roll, 10 A's and 4 B's between them. I think. I can't remember now

Good Morning!

It's cold and the blower stopped working on the truck. It was warm by the time I got to work.

Thing 1 turns 16 this weekend, 6'3", 300# but doesn't look it, needs a serious shave! He hasn't taken a drivers ed course yet, so next week we'll take him for his permit. But he has driven me around the country side plenty.

I'm hungry!

hey, hey, hey...my weather is here!

I think I dropped another 10 lbs. owing to yesterday. after fulfilling my constitutional requirement, I went to SHOPRITE. I walked all the aisles, some twice, after fortifying myself with some necessary caffeine-French vanilla coffee-1/2 of a small container. I took home the perishables, and had the rest delivered. I am going out again on Fri & Sat. I did not buy any low carb liquids yesterday, so I will correct that on Sat morning. also, I need some Liquid Plumber, plus other things I may need as I do the aisles once again. oh, Happy Birthday to Thing 1. (oh, btw I take credit for the cold weather. y'all may blame it on me.) Love & Profits: FLATFERENGHI

This morning I tweaked my back wrong, way wrong. I blamed the old man, sent him a nasty gram after I had to go to the chiropractor. When I forget to turn off the radio in the front room, he usually unplugs everything at that outlet. This morning I had to plug everything back in, and it's a pain, and I twisted wrong. I cussed him out, threatened to strangle him with the cords if he does it again. No, Thing 2 did it when he sat in the front room chatting with a buddy last evening. I guess he needed the outlet.

I fixed sausage links and ham slices yesterday, for breakfast and lunch today. But I forgot to put them up when I left the house for a few minutes, the mutt got them

Oh well!

WOE: Stay below 20 carbs per day
Start Date: 7/12/16 for yet another time
Cold morning here, lots of frost on the windows. The back was worse this morning when I got up, but if I keep moving it keeps feeling better.

I hit the Amish store yesterday after work, $30 later I had 4 different kinds of cheese and 2 of lunch meat. I love that place.

Breakfast was the last bagel, with butter. Snackage of the jalapeno beef stick from the Amish store. Lunch will be Cajun turkey and veggie cheese. A salad will be dinner.

Spent 2 hours raking and leaf bowing front yard yesterday only to have very strong winds all day blowing them all back on the lawn. ugh. Well not all of them but a lot. The temp right now at 3:30is 29 degrees.

I have a fire going in the wood stove. First one since Feb. 5th. You may recall I was walking in our drive going to get wood to start a fire when I slipped on the ice.

So happy my dept. is still not having to work overtime!

Sounds like a fun day, Tony!

Trying to stay safe this year by parking in the garage, keeping the wood in the garage and having ice grippers on my boots if I have to work outside.

20 degrees right now! brrr. FF must be ecstatic!
