Good morning everyone have a great Friday.

Tammy too bad about your sugar levels hopefully you can figure out what is up with that. Good job on the exercise, what is she doing about your thyroid?

I am down 1.2 today happy about that and yesterday I ate lots including hamburger for both lunch and supper, including mushrooms, cream cheese muffins and bullet proof coffee, I know I was over for the calories yesterday but maybe that is what I needed to kick start the losses again.

jshaf - wow, that's a lot of fasting. Do you lose faster that way?

jabbok - I'd love to hear what a cream cheese muffin is!

star - Thanks for the ACV recipe.


I find I tend to eat the bulk of my daily calories between 8-11am. I try to eat dinner around 5pm and ideally, I'd like to not consume calories between 4pm and 8am.

So far this week is going well for me. I'm actually eating more calories than I normally am, thanks to extra butter and coconut oil in my food/coffee.

for me it about striking a balance, listening to my body when I have gone a little to far and allowing it to catch up. really every person has to find what works for them. I know not every one can do the amount of extended fasts I do. I am just thankful that I can do them with very little side effects. we are not all built the same way, thru experimentation I have found what works best for me but it is an evolving process, always looking for a way to make it better and more efficient. I am so used to 72 hour fasts that most weeks I find them fairly easy and yes fasted states combined with tons of walking on weekends has been my vehicle that allows me to shed weight fairly quickly. It does work for me. not saying it will work for most people but the only way to know is to try it. I started slow, built up my fasts over several months. always get some pink salt a couple times a day(usually just a pinch) and plenty filtered tap water. 75+ oz of water most days, some times double that amount. Hope this helps

The cheese cream muffin I make is:

2 - 8 oz of cream cheese

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

I put in 1 to 2 packages of sugar free Jello

Mix with blender until smooth put in muffin tins cook at 350 degrees for 15 - 20 mins.

I cook my for 15-16 mins I find them creamier and also quite delicious while still warm

The original recipe calls for 1/2 cup of sweetener.

I also freeze them so they aren't so tempting to eat all of them

Cindy ~ Congrats losing 1.2 lbs! That's great!! Oh... it was a good thing getting my thyroid checked. The doc upped my meds for my thyroid, and I will be checking labels for hidden sugars. Will figure it out... in good hands!

PurpleFuzzies ~ WTG! I like to eat breakfast early around 8-9am, have a small snack between 12-3pm, and eat dinner at 5pm. If I'm still hungry, I will slice a couple of strawberries, or have blueberries, and put whipping cream on top. Yum.
Oh... a thought just came to me. I know I've been consuming too much splenda! Now... that could been affecting my glugose! Making a conscience effort to cut back. How could I have missed that?

Thanks Tammy I was up .4 today but hoping for a better day today.

The cream cheese muffins are delicious but I have to watch that I don't eat too many.

That's good that you got your meds figured out so hopefully your weight loss will continue.

I am checking everything for hidden sugars I really want the weight loss to continue.

I am down the 1.2 that I lost on Friday and gained it back now lost it again kinda of making some headway but this going up and down all the time is frustrating.

I am down .4 today which is a good sign as from past few weeks the scale would drop lots them go up till I was back where I was.

I did add Apple cider vinegar 1 tablespoon mixed with water once in the morning and again before bed so I am not sure if this has helped but will continue with it.

Good morning everyone have a good Thursday and a wonderful Easter.

I am down .4 today so the last 3 days I am down 2 pounds I am happy that the scale is continuing down.

I made a green smoothie yesterday to get my greens in:

1/2 cup spinach
1/2 avocado
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp. MCT coconut oil
1/4 cup water 1/4 cup cream
1 cup water
ice cubes blend together and drink

It was an interesting smoothie really smooth tasty I think I may add celery next time.

Cindy ~ That's great! Suggestion: instead of doing the ACV detox drink like I have been doing, you can add 2 tbsp of ACV to a glass of cold water and drink. It takes a few times to get used to, but it cuts the apetite. The ACV detox drink is for cleansing the liver, and burning fat. I boil the water in the evening and add the ACV ingredients, stir it up good, then let it cool. Put it in the fridge overnight for the morning and evening before I go to bed.

Morning all! Happy Easter!! I finally am down a pound! Yippy!! The gym -rec centre was open yesterday, good friday. So I was able to do my workout. Adding weights and strength training to my routine. Very happy with my pŕogress of 3 months! Do 3x a week and thinking of adding saturdays too. We have been having sunshine and some clouds here on the west coast of british columbia, canada! When we get clear blue skies, you can see the beautiful coastal mountains and mount baker too. Beautiful!

Tammy WTG on the pound that is really good kutgw you are on a roll now.

I am down 1 pound today I am very happy about that the scale is going down then stays the same for a couple of day then down again I am really happy about that it's so nice that it's not going up.

I have been eating asparagus, chicken, bulletproof coffee, green smoothie, eggs, ceasar salads, cream cheese muffins, and also been taking a tablespoon of ACV in the morning and before bed.

I am not sure which is doing the job but am happy that it's working.

I am down 1.2 today quite happy about that and am surprised that I dropped that much again.

My menu yesterday:

B bulletproof coffee

S green smoothie

L 2 pieces of cheese and 2 cream cheese muffins

S parmesan asparagus, chicken breast cooked in the instant pot, sf Jello with cream

I am keeping my protein lower and having more green veggies, it is helping with making the green smoothie.

Green smoothie is 2 stalks celery, 3/4 cup spinach, 1/2 avocado, 1 teaspoon vanilla, 1 tablespoon MCT coconut oil, 1/4 cup cream and about 1 1/2 cups of water.

I am taking the ACV in the morning and before bed if I remember.

I started Feb 12 I am down 15.2 still have about 40 pounds to go but this is a good start.

I lost most of it in the 1st 2 weeks and then the rest in the last 2 weeks so it is coming off slowly but at least it's coming off.

Good morning everyone have a great Wednesday.

I am up .2 today not concerned about it as I didn't sleep well last night and woke up with a sore throat and plugged up.

I will probably drink more than I eat today so I made the green smoothie should help with the throat and keep me full.
