PRECISION XTRA ACCURACY FOR GLUCOSE

Hi my meter gives me 20 points higher (80% of the time) than other 3 meters dor blood glucose is not trustable how does ur precision xtra behaves , also what is the manufacture country mine is China

I think precision xtra is more reliablle at < 80 mg/dl

My understanding is that blood meters can be around 5% inaccurate, The precision meter is the most accurate and if you are getting such inaccurate measures, you might consider contacting them. I have found them to be extremely responsive to the point that they replaced my meter with a brand new one (for free) even though it was a few years old.

It's actually a freestyle Optium (precision xtra kind available in Ecuador)I have tried 4 of them all with the same 10-12 points higher problem
