Craving non-food stuff after starting LC?

I quit smoking about 2 months before I started low-carbing.

The strange thing is that ever since then the 2nd month was probably the easiest. I would have thought it would get better and better with time.

Now that I look back it looks like the craving went up again couple of weeks after I started low-carbing.

It's kinda like I just want to be addicted to something and being able to satisfy the need as a way of comfort.

Anyone had similar experience? It sucks that so many months go by and the thoughts of wanting to buy a pack visit me every day. Will this go down again in the coming months? So frustrating.
