DD Friday..... How You Doin?

I typed that in my best Joey voice.

I didn't see a Friday thread so I thought I would start one. I like to check in here if the day gets tough.

My plan:

B - coffee and iced tea (its a hot one here today)
L- cabbage, chicken and salsa salad (this is a new concoction, hope its good)
D- not sure yet, maybe zoodles and chicken meatballs

Have a great JUDDD day everyone!

Lots of hot tea. It's rainy here.

Planning not to eat until after work. Fage, plain, 2% + Quest bar

I have some instant miso soup here at work, in case I get super hungry.

I'm going to have to find some instant miso soup. I love it when I go to Japanese restaurants, but never even think about it at home.

Does anyone know a good brand?

I don't know the brand names, but I've gotten several kinds of instant Miso at various Asian grocers and they've all been good. I got one variety pack at Central Fish that had 3 different kinds (one with seaweed, one with tofu, and one plain) and all the flavors were good.

I have Miso-Cup brand, Traditional Soup with Tofu. It's 30 calories and I think it's pretty good. I have heard Kikkoman is better, so I bought some. I'll try it when I use up the Miso-Cup.

It is DD Friday again- October 10th version. I drug this thread back up rather than start a new one.

My plan for today:

B- coffee
L- chicken meatballs and grape tomatoes
D- not sure yet, I have zucchini for zoodles

I have a ton of stuff to do at work, but all kind of boring and on my own. That isn't usually a recipe for DD ease. I'll probably be back throughout the work day.

I may or may not do a DD today. Here's the plan:

B: NF Greek yogurt w/ez-sweetz, coffee (125)
L: Small Wendy's chili with onions and scorpion pepper sauce (184)
D: Zoodles with pasta sauce (100?)

Fair tomorrow and my weight is creeping up, so I thought I'd try to throw in a good DD. I reserve the right to change my mind.

B- nope, lots of ice tea
L - romaine salad with a couple of ounces of grilled chicken, vinegar and some hearts of palm
D- maybe oatmeal and berries?? not sure

I bought two my first week: Miso-Cup Japanese Restaurant Style and Kikkoman, both from Fry's (a Kroger store). I liked the former better. The miso was a squeeze packet, not a powder, and the Kikkoman had a stronger fishy/seaweed flavor that isn't my thing.

I know Sprouts sells miso paste in a tub so I'd like to try making it from that.

DD today. 2pm and just had a bowl of my chicken zoodle soup with sriracha and a hard boiled egg and feel very full. 240 calories, so I might repeat it for dinner, or skip the egg then. Though a Quest bar doesn't sound bad, either.

Could this thread title BE any more Joey-like?

I had a 3-egg omelet around midday, and I'm a little hungry now, but nothing I can't ride out if I choose. I love peaceful DDs.

Didn't eat the yogurt, then had lunch early.

Having a quest bar, now, so I'll be around 450 calories today after dinner.
