WTG! That's great to see that it can be done. 70lbs is a mean feat. I am still trying to break my first 30. How tall you?

You look younger, and taller! And now slimmer! I'm 5'8 so know where you are coming from. Was the whole 70 done on LC?

THIS WORKED FOR ME, MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU

i started by just controlling my calories intake...
then after i dropped 40lbs, i got serious with it and went to a nutritionist..
started with dropping carbs to 40% daily, then every 2-3 weeks i lowered the carbs, sometimes just by 5%... now i'm under 10% daily coming from carbs... good carbs
(veggie carbs)... with having a bulging disk in my lower back, exercising is hard, so i do it though diet..
at the moment I'm at 1770 cals a day with carbs being less than 10%

when i crave something, I plan for it.... i "save" my daily carbs for that graving... and limit my cravings to 1 a month, sometimes not even that often!!

i really don't have cravings that often anymore, and when i eat high carb, it makes me sick... not worth it!!

Not so sure about the % system?? So does it mean 10% of your 1770 is coming from carbs ? So you can eat up to 177 calories worth of carbs, but then do you count the carb too? For example, a bread roll might be 175 calories, but it would be 20 cg? Isn't it simpler just to focus on the carbs?

My target calorie break even for losing weight is around 1800, and when I was on low cal I would aim at 1650 or below. It worked when I could stick with it, and I guess the first 14lbs of my total weight less was using low cal. But, of course, I wasn't able to stick with the low cal more than a couple of months because of inevitable cravings.

sorry.. i did make it confusing...

my break down on the "macro counter app" is daily

1770 cals
44 carbs
118 fats
133 protein
54 sugar
38 fiber..

i concentrate on hitting the cals and carbs mostly... and i NEVER do 54 sugars a day...

Thanks, that's really good to know. I am letting my calories drift a bit, but my carbs are very low. If I stop losing, I will know that I need to drop the calories too. Good luck on the next 30. What do you figure...another 6 months to goal?

I've been there.... stalling. I did the Stillman's diet to break the stall. Take my advice and only do it for 3 days. I did it for a month and lost a ton of hair. Obviously wasn't healthy. The hair loss was about permanent.

Anyway.... congrats and take care of your health!
