New products at Netrition

Have not shopped in quite some time. Am placing a new big order.
If any of my LC Friends have purchased some of the newer items,
would you mind sharing your finds with me and the others.
I see Miracle Noodles has come out with some entree type packages.
Lots of bready and floury things. Thanks very much for helping.

I tried out some new items in my shipment earlier this month...

I liked the new SmartCakes, but they aren't cheap. I'll probably stick to "muffin-in-a-minute" cakes out of the microwave.

I liked the Cello Whisps Cheese Crisps, but again, I can make them myself in the microwave. Only takes several minutes to make a dozen of them. And I can use my own cheeses and whatever spicing I choose.

I liked the Sonoma Creamery Mr. Cheese O's, but just another variation of cheese crisps.

I didn't care for the Quest Nutrition Quest Bar, Naturally Sweetened, Cinnamon Roll. Took one bite and threw the rest away.

I liked the Atkins Nutritionals Endulge -- Chocolate Covered Almonds, Milk Chocolate Caramel Squares.

I repeated some items -- Chocorite Crisp bars, Mt. Olive NSA Sweet Gherkins, Mt. Olive NSA Sweet Relish, Moon Cheese, Lily's Sweets Dark Chocolate Premium Baking Chips.

Several items I now get at the local Walmart store (and they deliver!) instead of Netrition -- G Hughes Hickory Sugar-Free BBQ sauce, Joseph's Lavash Bread.

I like the Zeroodle rice. Really can't tell it from real rice in most recipes. Just bought their penne pasta but haven't tried it yet.

Not new, but I had a package of Dixie Delight Mashers in the cupboard. I discovered I was short on turnips at thanksgiving, so I mixed up a package of the Mashers according to directions. Didn't much care for the taste, but the texture was very like real mashed potatoes. So I cooked up the two turnips I had and put them with the Mashers and hit them with the stick blender. Without a doubt, the closest thing to "real" mashed potatoes yet. Kept the potato like texture of the Mashers, but the turnips got rid of the slightly off flavor. The ratio was about 50/50 Mashers to turnips. I was making oven roasted cauliflower, so I didn't want to use cauliflower for the potatoes, too.

I do like the SmartCakes! And the Zeroodles Shiratake in all the shapes.

thank you friends. I am trying some of the Miracle noodle entrees in my next order.
Do you ever use the Dixie Diner products? If so, which ones do you like?
They have a huge variety of products.

I use the Dixie Diner pancake mix and the Smaps Cocoa cereal....also use LC Foods bagels and Thinslim Foods products.
I've also become fond of Healthsmart Chocolate Bake Mix....
There are so many products I want to try.....maybe I should add myself to the Christmas list this year!

thanks ncgirl...My zeroodles came today and I'll give them a try tomorrow,
as I've already go my meat balls made. I have used Monin blackberry SF syrup
before to make pancake syrup with and it's very tasty.
The only other new thing is Quest sour cream chips. Ok but won't buy again.
Thanks for help you provided.

I don't really care for the Quest chips either, but I've found that they make a nice breading for chicken strips if you grind them up.
