Did you buy a home warranty for your old house or the new one? I think they are wonderful and I've known people really think they are worth it when something goes awry...

Enjoy your new fridge, Judy.. It's fun to get something new.

Yes, it will be a whirlwind weekend..Some of the friends we don't see that much so we want to spend time with them, then there is my brothers and sisterinlaw....My sisterinlaw is a hairdresser..so for any last minute emergencies...

Sarah's bridesmaids are having their hair done in Becka's hotel room at 8 am on Saturday.
Everyone should have hair that hasn't been washed that day..Lots of rules..LOL..

ERMAGOSH I couldn't show up for a wedding without washed hair. But rules are rules! LOL So exciting.

You will have so much fun with your family!

You bought a home warranty so if something breaks in the house you're leaving it's covered? My gosh you guys are "on it!"
Hang in there - you are almost done! Cute pic of Bailey in the box!

Brett thinks he is getting a cold!!! Please pray for healing!!!

Our friends from St. Louis can't make it. They are so sad. Ron has pulmonary fibrosis and the heat really gets him down and he is pretty sick. it is so much better if they stay home.

I'm so sorry about your St. Louis friends. So glad you all went to visit them so recently. They are probably smart to stay away.

HOWEVER, the weather (except maybe some showers) looks like it's going to be very manageable temperature-wise. You won't have these July temps, you'll have June temps! Now Lord please look after Brett. Whatever he is going through, please heal, comfort, give him rest and peace at this exciting time.

At this time, it'll be hot today, but a high tomorrow of 85. The storm chance (80%) is in the morning. The evening doesn't look rainy. And wedding day is also a high of 85. Only a 10% chance of rain that day. Sounds absolutely beautiful!! I hope you all have the most wonderful time!

Now the Saturday weather looks sunny and 84! How perfect is that?? I had lots of people praying. It might rain Friday, but no biggie.

Getting ready to head out. Brett has pressure in his ears so he is on Sudafed. The clinic is close if he needs more help.

Hugs to you all.... cleaning the apt this afternoon. I have lots of big garbage bags. The big black ones that hold a lot.

Scarlet hits the road today driving. Yikes. She is a bit scared..

Hi ladies,

We had a nice dinner at Chilis with the family. Spent the afternoon doing laundry. Well, Brett went to a clinic tonight. He has a sinus infection. They gave him a steroid shot and a script for antibiotics. The dr said he should feel better tomorrow. Praying it is so. Luckily nothing happens until 1 which is practice. Then the girls do their thing until rehearsal dinner at 7.

Thanks for all your good wishes.

Well, he feels a lot better this am. Thank God! My brothers' plane will get in at 12, we will rush to rehearsal at Harwelden at 1-2, then eat a snack, check back at the hotel. My big brother Stephen will take the rental car to the Hard Rock Casino..

Thanks for your prayers. Tonight is my big night. Pray for a fun rehearsal dinner. Tomorrow'S weather is supposed to be cooler and dry. YEAH!!!

I think even later this afternoon you'll have the benefits of the cold front! This should go swimmingly. SO SO SO glad Brett feels better. He'll be able to enjoy it all.

Prayers and smiles for your big night tonight. Congrats for the great weather. What a wonderful reason to gather and what a fun gathering it will be!!

Well, I'm heading to the doctor this am. I have one shingle next to my eye. I didn't know what it was and thought it was a bug bite, but the shooting pain started yesterday. Thank the good Lord I made it through the wedding. But I have been taking Tylenol only. It helps a bit.

After reading on the net about this, I bet my ear ache was a ear shingle and that was several weeks ago, then last week this one little devil popped up next to my eye.

I can't take anything that will upset my stomach, so I'll see what the dr says. I remember Sandy's terrible bout with them. I had shingles years back, but only one in my back. Lucky to get just one, I think..

Thanks for listening.

I was supposed to take Connie for cataract surgery this Wed but I told her to change it into July or get someone else to take her.

Anyway.....

I am SO glad you are going to the doctor and hope you get some anti-viral drug if it's the correct thing to do. I have a couple of friends who nearly lost their eyesight to shingles in the eye. Very glad you will stay on top of this.

Yep, Connie will need to get someone else or change her appointment. You need to deal with yourself.

Working and trying not to make menus for the lake because Wednesday we're going to the lake, I think. Maybe Thursday. We'll see.

Seems like everything happens at once.

Got my anti viral and pain meds. And have an appointment with my eye dr this afternoon..I think it's fine right now. I could have gone to a clinic in Tulsa, but this is fine. Thanks..

Food at the lake! Fun..

Yes, I would have had to pick her up at 5:30 am on Wednesday. She understands. Her granddaughter isn't working, so she could come down to help.

The Harwelden is so beautiful that that was part of the fun and beauty of the day.

Just a PSA here...My 50th class reunion was in NH on Brett's wedding day, but friends posted photos of our classmates. Excuse me please, but the people with grey hair looked 20 years older than the rest of the ones who dye their hair. The guys were fine with the grey, but the girls (some of whom were lookers in high school) looked pretty old. They are great people..This was just a shallow comment. Lolol

I agree.
My mom will be 89 next month and she still colors her hair.
In every single picture where she's with same-aged friends, she looks 10-15 years younger. Or 20.
It's not shallow, it's just a preference for what you want to see in the mirror, I think.

I don't think I'll ever stop coloring my hair.

I agree.. I emailed Sandy for some shingles advice. She said to add Tagamet to the mix of drugs so we took a trip to Walgreens. I think it is going to help !

time for bed...

I wish I were going to bed.
I'm making crepes for manicotti (Bobo's) and pizza crusts.
And changing the bed sheets.

Are you in much pain? I hope not.
