Missing you too, pal. Either one, I'm in, lol. And it's ok if we disagree here, tastes and mileage vary. ;-)

Probably an initial water drop in the beginning but I'm going to duplicate this menu EXACTLY today and see what happens. Who knows maybe we will have invented the CCCC diet -CheeseCake, Crab and Corn
GO YOU, NOLC!! Awesome job. I can hear that drum rolling down here in Texas! Seriously, congrats! Gotta make mine some time this weekend. TGIF for all of us!

I wonder if I could make 1/2 of the recipe. I have the ingredients for that!

I'm in serious trouble with trying to lose weight. Nothing is working. The most broken being my will power!!

Can I hang out here with all of you?

And to add another opinion to the peanut butter debate, gimme Peter Pan creamy. . . The small jar in my cupboard has maybe three tablespoons left in it. Peanut butter has to be an occasional treat for me because I can really overdo it.

Not much going on. Staying relatively low in carbs, but I'm getting some cravings out of my system and wanting to return to Seriousville next month. Maybe then we could restart our thread and call it EF, FF, and M&E.

And, of course, cheesecake and p.b. fasters welcome.

Thanks Mae.
You all seem like a great group.
I've been eating out way too much. I need to figure out how to cut back or at least make better choices. I'm not a good faster unless it means I can eat! There is something about fasting that makes me want to binge. That said, I bet I could put away a cheese cake or a jar of PB!

Well if it's sweltering humid there, like it has been where I am, I've kept on a few pounds, even when losing. My feet have been swelling like crazy in this humidity we've been having and I drink water, lay low on the salt, when I remember to. Stress can do it too. Even bloat from something that may not have caused it before. Persevere is sometimes all we can do. Good luck. I'm gonna be doing the CC one later next week instead, still haven't made the CC cake yet, other things to do around house, darn it, getting in way. Happy weekend. Mae

Ok...I'm not sick of the taste of cheesecake but I am sick of the thought of eating more cheesecake. I brought my lunchtime CC serving with me today but just couldn't bring myself to eat it...I've ordered hot wings instead

I think it's the same problem I had with the egg fast....I CRAVE VARIETY! Eating the same things all the time makes me insane...

Dinner will be a hot corn chile dip with raw veggies for dipping.....I just can't go without veggies!

I'll keep the cheesecake for breakfast and I know DD has her eye on a piece

Would different flavors of cheesecake help, or is it the fact that it would still be cheesecake?

Loving your cheesecake idea NewOldLC! May try to make one tomorrow if I can find the time. I am curious about you eating corn though... I always thought corn was way high in carbs, have I been mistaken?

I plan for a few meals of corn only when the fresh super-sweet corn is at its peak here. Makes it somewhat self limiting

I haven't made the cheesecake yet. May not do it. Seems that my quick fixes, which sound like such a terrific idea, ultimately ha e me gain because I go off the plan with inappropriate things.
I think I do best with meats, some dairy and some veggies and fats thrown in. The avocados are particularly wonderful right now.
I do enjoy a spoon of cream cheese though. I held a jar of PB yesterday but didn't buy it.

Oh you are daring, LT! I haven't held or even touched a jar of PB in a couple of years, Lub the cream cheese, but have to watch don't over do it. We eat similar stuff. Have to watch those quick fixes too, don't we? But the Cheesecake fast is tempting!

Thank you for cheering up my morning.

I, too, like variety, but sometimes have a meal of gelatin made with hwc, TempTee whipped cream cheese and vanilla extract. It'd be easy to put some egg yolks into that, and whatever sweetener one uses. Easy peasy, tastes like cheesecake sans crust.

You all are wonderful.
