Bioidentical Hormone Levels..

Just had my levels test..Post meno, no organs..LOL..The estrogen was supposed to be 30 and mine was 18, up from 12. Testosterone was low, too. So, the compounding pharmacist is sending me stronger troches.

Wondering how the rest of you are doing??

Carolyn
I am VERY interested in going to bioidentical hormones for my menopause. Had it been helpful?

Absolutely. I've been on them since my hysterectomy about 10 years ago. I am tested once a year to make sure the levels are what they should be for post-menopausal women.

There is a compounding pharmacy that is excellent on making the troches, creams, etc.

The key is to get a doctor who understands and prescribes them. The best wAy is to find a compounding pharmacy and ask them which doctors they work with.
