Marsha’s Low Carb Meatza UN-Pizza
½ (apx 180g/6.7oz) Medium White Onion, Diced
2 Tbs Butter
2 LBS Ground Beef 88/12%
1 Tbs Garlic Powder
½ tsp Oregano Powder
¾ tsp Salt
¾ tsp Black Ground Pepper
13.2 oz (374g) Jimmy Dean All Natural Pork Sausage, crumbled
1 tsp Tony Chachere’s Original Creole Seasoning
3 (4oz) cans, Giorgio Mushrooms, Pieces and Stems
1 (3.8oz) can, Kroger, Ripe Sliced Olives
8 Tbs (48g) Kirkland Bacon Crumbles
42 Slices, Hormel Original Pepperoni Slices, cut into 4th’s
5.7 oz (1 ½ 13oz) Jars, Rao’s Homemade Pizza Sauce
10 oz American Heritage Mozzarella Cheese, Shredded
In a medium sauce pan, caramelize the onion with the butter. Set aside when caramelized.
In another medium sauce pan, cook and crumble the ground beef, garlic powder, oregano powder, salt and pepper. Season to taste. Set aside.
In same sauce pan, previously cooked ground beef, cook and crumble the pork sausage with the Tony Chachere’s seasoning. Season to taste. Set aside.
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Spray Grease a 9 x 13 rectangle dish.
Begin to layer your UN-Pizza.
I started with 21 of the sliced pepperoni slices, cut into 4ths; then
1 ½ cans of mushrooms; then
½ can olives; then
4 Tbs Bacon crumbles; then
½ Pork Sausage crumbles; then
½ Ground beef crumbles; then
½ of the Pizza sauce; then
½ of the Mozzarella cheese.
Repeat with a second layer.
Bake for 30-45 minutes, or until warmed through and bubbly.
